2-Star Hotels in Sokcho-si

I stayed at this hotel for two days during my trip to Sokcho. The location is excellent, right across from the bus terminal. However, there's no elevator, so carrying luggage up the stairs was a bit inconvenient, though thankfully my suitcase wasn't heavy. The front desk service was very nice and the roommates I met were also very friendly. The hotel is also close to the beach. If I come to Sokcho again, I would still choose this hotel.

My wife and I have traveled extensively, but we found a place where we had absolutely no complaints regarding cleanliness, service, price, or parking. I feel 1000% willing to visit again and again, so I decided to leave this review hoping that many people will choose this accommodation for a pleasant stay during their trip to Sokcho. I plan to revisit with other family members in the future. [Cleanliness] It is the best. There was absolutely no chemical smell typical of accommodations, and the towels were not damp at all. The floor inside the room was not carpeted, so it was clean and pleasant with no embedded dust. I couldn't find any dust accumulation even in the nooks and crannies. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. [Parking] There is a parking tower in the building, as well as a dedicated parking lot within a 1-2 minute walk, so we experienced absolutely no inconvenience during our stay. [Location] It is within walking distance of Sokcho Central Market, and if you prefer not to walk, taking a bus is also not difficult. [Service and Convenience] They were incredibly kind and greeted me with a bright smile every time I came and went. Thanks to that smile, every moment we shared was filled with a shared smile, making my trip truly enriching. On the 3rd floor of the building, I was able to enjoy a simple breakfast of cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and toast, and the cafe latte was delicious. Guests also receive a discount on cafe drinks. Additionally, having a GS25 convenience store right in front of the accommodation was also very convenient.

We really enjoyed staying in this hostel !! A spacious room, comfortable beds, comfortable shower ! ! They provided 3 towels per person, toothbrushes, even a urine. The polite staff, James speaks English excellently - gave us a tourist map and told us what places to visit in Sokcho. Near a bus stop, on which you can take buses to Soraxana. For breakfast in the hostel there are coffee, tea, bread and toasters, milk, chips. We came only for 1 night but were able to take a great rest and if we still come to Sokcho, we will definitely stop at James again !! Thank you for a great rest

We stayed 2 nights, and the owners were really kind and friendly and invited us to sing and play Korean songs along with them and other families in the stage they have in the basement. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my whole trip in South Korea. The room and water were warm and well suited for the winter. They upgraded our room for free and there was so much space with sink, fridge, sofa and table included. The breakfast every morning is delicious and filling, preparing you well for a day of walking in the mountains. 설악산 was beautiful coated in the white snow. The location of the hotel is great too, as there is a frequent bus that takes you to the park in no time, as well as to the city when you first come or when you leave the last day. I hope I can come back again to visit the park during different seasons, and I will definitely would like to stay in this hotel again. Thank you for everything. Gracias, 감사합니다 😄

The view is really healing. As I saw in Naver reviews, it is an old building, but it feels very well managed. And the owner is very kind.

Smart 8th floor executive studio apartment with balcony overlooking the port. Bit of hassle getting the elevator card from the lockbox in reception. (It's the 2cnd box down) Then you use your phone to unlock the door. No lounge as such Separate bathroom very modern. Problem was there was no kitchen equipment. There's a hob and microwave but no pots or pans. Only 2 spoons and 1 plate!

The room was clean and had all the amenities - hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser and even hair ties and a razor! I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived to check-in very late and had not previously notified the hotel but they had my room key waiting for my arrival at the check in making the whole process very smooth as I just wanted to head straight to my room to sleep! A very wonderful experience for a short one night stay. Thank you!

I like the hotel because I liked how the bed was always nice and warm, on our first day we saw SNOW and when we open our window we could see the mountain Seoraksan it was verry nice with all the snow! The reception also gave us Korean traditional cake and he was really nice!😋

Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Seoraksan National Park. It just takes 15 mins by car or bus to travel from this hotel to Seoraksan National Park. There are several nice restaurants, marts and medical shops near this hotel. The bus stop is just 5 mins by walk. The location of the hotel gives good view of the mountain. The location is very calm and peaceful. The room is perfect, well maintained and has all basic amenities. It was a nice two days stay with my family. They provided free bed for my baby. The bathroom has a bath tub and its very clean. The room has a TV, a small refrigerator, hair dryer and a cloth hanger. Free car parking is available. Consumables like bath towels, toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, bathing soap and tooth paste were provided. Common hot & cold water dispenser, microwave oven and coffee maker were available in the corridor. Tips of improvement : It will be good if small water absorbing door mats can be provided at the bathroom entrance and living room entrance. Overall verdict : Perfect place, budget place with very good facilities and cleanliness, 100% satisfied and highly recommended.

주차장으로들어가면 엘리베어터를 못만나요~^^ 정문 으로들어가시면 엘베로 편하게 이동할수있어요 계단입구보이면 반대로 들어가심 됩니다. 후기에 냄새얘기 걱정했는데 객실에서는 그런생각1도 안들어요 에어컨 깨끗하고 신형 냉장고 깨끗 수압 전혀요 쌔요 침대 머리위 플러그 완전 센스 이틀 묵으면서 불편한거하나없이 잘 쉬다왔네요 남자사장님 친절하시구요 호텔서비스에 호텔컨디션 기대하신분들은 그돈주고 5성급호텔가세요 전 가격대비 매우만족하고 재방문의사있어요!!!
