2-Star Hotels in Cebu City

It was a Saturday morning when our area were scheduled for a rotational brownout. We missed the social media announcement. But, to save the day to be worthwhile, we booked in this hostel. The Front Desk was so accommodating and even gave us complimentary early check in to ease ourselves from stress. The guards at the Front was so nice, too. The location is just at the Corner Entry to Cebu Business Park coming from Hipodromo. It is very convenient and accessible. The room was decent. The AC works well. The TV was WiFi-ready. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower was broken. The water spill on the valve between the main faucet and the overhead shower. The elevation of the guest room floor and the shower floor was too thin that makes the water from the shower to spill going to the room. The window was dirty with watermarks and dust-turned-cement residues. The towel hook was also out-of-place as a hanged towel will get when you turn on the shower. I think the planning was not carefully thought of. I do not know. The plus were the refrigerator and the microwave oven. It was a good try but might not come back.

A decent hotel. The staff are friendly. The room was clean by Philippine standards, and there were no issues with hot water. No unwanted critters were spotted. There's a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway, which is very eco-friendly. The breakfast is simple but acceptable. There's an elevator and good Wi-Fi. The neighborhood, like all of Cebu, is unpleasant, dirty, and noisy, but that's not the hotel's fault. On the downside, the bed linen is old and worn out, it's time for a replacement. Also, it's very noisy from the road outside the windows.

We would like to share our experience during our recent stay. Unfortunately, it was not fully satisfactory. We checked in at 7:00 PM, but there was no consideration or flexibility regarding the check-out time, which was disappointing. The room also had a damaged faucet that should have been repaired prior to guest use. Although the room was advertised for five persons, we were only provided with one bed and one small foam on the floor, which was not comfortable for our group of three adults and two children. Additionally, the table in the room was small and only suitable for two persons, with only two chairs provided, which was not enough for our group. Overall, our stay did not meet our expectations. We would rate our experience at 75%. We hope management can address these concerns to improve future guest experiences.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tsai Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. We I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, Tsai Hotel provided great value for money with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire Tsai Hotel team for a wonderful experience! 😊

The room smelled of cigarettes, probably from the old air conditioning. The hotel is very old and rundown, but if you're looking for something cheap for one night, it's okay. The beds are comfortable, and there's a supermarket and various attractions nearby.

Good experience. The beds little bit make noise because old but clean and also possibility to have buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and kind . Recomanded

I like that it is clean and has enough space for my things. The staff was nice. Only downside is that it is a bit far from the airport.

Good room for a short stay; we spent one night here before our flight. We requested a late checkout, which they allowed for an extra charge – very convenient! The staff is responsive and pleasant; they even brought me an iron when I asked. However, the room was dirty, the floor was terribly sticky, and there was mold. The water pressure was poor, but we were warned about that beforehand. The TV and AC both worked. The location is excellent, right by a university, which means there are many good, affordable cafes and delicious donuts nearby! All the main attractions are within walking distance.

The place is warm and cozy. If you are looking for a stay in place in the heart of fuente osmeña, this is one of the best places.

The location is very accessible. But the beddings are dirty, the toilet seat seems not cleaned and the floor is very sticky.
