GGuest UserThe receptionist was kind, polite, and lovely!
The room was simple and clean.
The room was clean, and the area around the hotel was safe, so I'm glad I chose this hotel.
There are many malls nearby, so I walked there many times to shop.
I liked the mall with its beautiful fountain!
Even when I was outside at around 10pm, there were families and young women walking around, so it seemed safe.
Cleaning is done every three days.
After cleaning, there is a paper with a QR code on it, which you can use to pay a tip.
There is a microwave in the room, so I was able to buy frozen food at Target and heat it up!
I wish I had brought cutlery and plates from Japan to eat the midnight snack I bought at the supermarket, lol.
I recommend Fox's Restaurant, which is next door!
I'd love to stay here again when I visit Los Angeles again.

HHuizhoulanguifangI booked this hotel mainly because it's in a relatively safe area; the receptionist said I could walk around the streets with peace of mind. Hotels in safe areas of Los Angeles are usually expensive, so this one offered good value. The room was quiet, and parking was right in front of the building; the receptionist registered my vehicle information, so I wasn't too worried about parking safety. The streets were relatively tidy. The room had a pleasant air freshener scent. It's also close to Griffith Observatory (for viewing the Hollywood sign and beautiful sunsets).

GGuest UserThe GOOD: clean, modern looking, felt safe, mostly quiet (aside from the constant stomping noise) nice large TV, nice fridge (no light inside tho), hidden parking area, lots of stores around, didn't see any bugs/roaches, had extra towels, toilet paper, soap in check-in area, etc.
The BAD: Even though they are single story rooms, I heard constant stomping from what sounded like a thin lady above me, CONSTANT! Didn't matter if I returned at 2pm, 2am, 7am, noon, this person never seemed to leave their room. Sooo irritating! Also, I returned at 4am and all the parking spots were taken. As soon as I went into my room, a person came out of another room and left, leaving a space available. I had to go back outside and move my car to that empty space. PARKING SPOTS SHOULD BE GUARANTEED FOR THOSE WHO PAID THE $10/NIGHT FEE TO PARK HERE, WHICH IS ANOTHER DOWNSIDE, THE $10/NIGHT PARKING FEE. I had already booked this place for 2 weeks before I found this out!

GGuest UserThe building is average looking with friendly manager. I had apartment 201 which was an upstairs unit. The white bedspread had stains on it, that looked like fecal stains from someone sitting on the white spread. The sheets were fine. The carpeting looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sleeping area has two ceiling lights that were not working. Not so sure that the TV remote was working, but was able to work the TV using the on and off buttons. There were no light switches near the bed so I had to get out of bed to turn on and off the ceiling lights. The baseboards were very dirty and dusty. Spots on the walls. The headboard needed to be dusted. The bathroom had decent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The walls near the toilet and sink counter were full of spots. Spider webs on the side of the toilet walls. Ceiling exhaust fan was not working, and one light in the bathroom was out. Towels were clean but put on he racks not completely dry. In general I would say that the cleaning staff probably touches the obvious areas but does not pay attention to details. Even the lightswitch covers had a layer of dust on the top of the cover. I have pictures, but not going to spend anymore time on this review. Just want to warn future customers looking at this location.
