GGuest UserVery skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but our stay wasn’t that bad. There was a dehumidifier that needed to be emptied in the room but it was super humid outside during our stay so I didn’t mind. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. There was an odd assortment of smells in the hallway that ranged from urine to **** to cleaning chemicals, but none of the smells made it inside the room so I didn’t care. Overall, I’d stay again.

GGuest UserEverything was pretty good! The beds weren't the most comfortable unfortunately but that's because we prefer firmer mattresses. The only real nitpick was that the coffee maker wasn't clean, some previous guests must have mistakingly poured coffee grounds into the water trough at the top & I couldn't clean it out because the coffee maker was secured to the wall. Otherwise the room was nice, the towels & bathroom were clean, etc.

GGuest UserLoved the room. It was very clean, and we had fresh towels every day. I highly recommend this motel, for your next stay in North Myrtle Beach. Everyone was so friendly, too. The only problem that we had, was when a huge storm came through, and the window leaked at the top, but they took care of it, right away. Even though I was not in time, for the breakfast bar, that's in the motel, there is a wonderful pancake restaurant within walking distance, of the hotel. I think it was called Southern Sunrise. I highly recommend it. We have stayed at this hotel twice, now, and we love the pool, and the location. It's not that far from the beach, either...just a few blocks away, or you can drive to it. There's plenty of stores nearby, too. I give this motel 5 stars!

AAnonymous UserIt was good stay, the building was smaller than the two next to it but the pool size was bigger than them. Grande beach picked bigger pool than more people while the other resorts picked more people with smaller pool.

GGaukhar RkhWonderful hotel, beautiful rooms and a good location, within walking distance of the beach, everything went great! There are all amenities, towels, a refrigerator and a microwave, the TV can connect to Netflix and YouTube, which was good news for us! The hotel is clean and comfortable

KKelly2002I booked the hotel on Trip.com, which I’d like to recommend. I have used it to book the hotels several times recently. It’s a reliable and trustworthy website. I got good deals on hotel bookings and all the hotels we stayed at were good. The sand bar hotel is good and close to beach.

GGuest UserPool was disgusting (brown water)... cleaning lady said the owner never opened the pool up but it does not say that anywhere in the website... vent in the bathroom did not work (room 214)...two people staying in one room and only allowed one chair is ridiculous...refused to give us any chair to allow the two of us to be able to sit in the room together

GGuest UserThe first room I booked was an oceanfront king. When I arrived I was placed in a small room on the 2nd floor by the pool. It smelled like it was just bombed for roaches. The bathroom was the size of a walk in closet with the shower directly behind the door. I was starting to get discouraged about this trip at first but I went up front to ask for another room higher up. The guy at the front desk was very understanding and moved me to the 7th floor with a room with 2 beds. The elevator there made me pray for my life every time I used it but once I reached my room I was highly satisfied with the change. The room was twice the size of the original king room I booked. Bathroom was still kinda small but cleaner. The view was amazing compared to looking at everyone in the pool and the room didnt smell of raid. This place could use some updates and definitely has potential.
