Our stay at the Guomen Hotel in Ji'an was great. The staff was A+... Front desk, Manager Leticia, Breakfast workers and maid staff were all over-the-top friendly, helpful, very respectful. The only downsides were (because of comparitable properties I have visited) there was no ”convenience” store on site where you could get snacks, etc. And the fact the property is a good distance from ”town”. So if you realize this and prepare, your experience there will be great! The Guomen Hotel is the nicest property in Ji'an. Great view of Yalu river and North Korea in the distance. Spacious rooms. Very quiet location also.

The Yalu River is directly in front of the square. The small town of Ji'an has a pleasant climate and is covered by forests all year round. It is known as the Jiangnan of the North. The hotel's atmosphere is quiet and elegant, allowing you to relax and unwind. The front desk staff is very friendly and attentive. They carefully handle check-in and the time and location of tomorrow's breakfast. The room facilities are clean and complete.

I stayed for one night before heading to Tonghua Airport. The staff were friendly, and the distance to the airport was just right.
