3-Star Hotels in Hiroshima City

We stayed for three nights as a group of three in an Excellent Twin Room (room 807). We were delighted with everything! It's a wonderful hotel that makes a great first impression right from the moment you step in. The location is convenient – just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station and the tram stops, making it easy to get to Miyajima and Hiroshima's main attractions. The hotel itself is like a museum, with designer interiors in a Western aristocratic style. It's a pleasure just to walk through the lobby, sit on the sofas, and take photos against the backdrop of suits of armor, fireplaces, and paintings. The room is spacious and comfortable, with separate bathroom, toilet, and sink areas. There's a special basket for used towels. In the hallway, there’s a wardrobe with lighting. There are also separate areas for working and getting ready. The beds are wide and comfortable. The breakfast is a good, varied buffet. As for drawbacks, I can point out the lack of power outlets next to the beds, weak hot water pressure in the sink, and weak Wi-Fi. Overall, we really liked the hotel and will definitely recommend it to our friends and acquaintances!

We booked two apartments each for two people. The apartment is spacious and easy to access with Taxi but not other public transportation. The amenities are good and it’s very clean. There are plenty of rubbish bins and coffee available in the kitchen cupboards. A few drawbacks: the body wash caused all four of us to feel like pins and needles in the skin but the hotel staff said they couldn’t provide another brand of body wash for us. Also, there is no air purifier. The saucepan does not have a handle. Yet, it’s quite comfortable to stay overall.

Prime Convenience: Having a 7-Eleven located right on the ground floor of the hotel was incredibly convenient for late-night snacks, drinks, and daily essentials. Perfect Transit Location: The hotel is located just a quick three stops away from Hiroshima Station via the local streetcar. It is also highly accessible for easy taxi pick-ups and drop-offs right outside. Great for Shopping: It sits very close to the main local shopping streets, making it a breeze to walk to nearby boutiques and restaurants.

Clean, quiet, and affordable capsule hotel. The facilities were well-maintained. Convenient location near public transportation. Great value for money and perfect for solo travelers. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus. The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room. The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability. Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable. Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson. Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.

Stayed at toyoko inn near hiroshima station during my kansai trip. Have stayed in toyoko inn in other places before and it never disappoints - whilst simple, i enjoyed the location being ＜5mins walk to the main hiroshima station which is a transport hub for travelling in and out of the city. There is also many food options at the station. Amenities are simple but sufficient with clean facilities. Also love the classic toyoko inn complimentary breakfast which makes the price even more value for money.

We were a group of four adults staying at Hiroshima Hostel NAGOMI, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Location & Convenience The hostel is located right in the city with exceptional connectivity. It is an effortless, flat 160-meter walk from the Kanayama-cho streetcar station, making it very easy to reach even when rolling heavy luggage. The neighborhood is incredibly convenient: within just a few steps, you have access to a 24-hour coin laundry and all three major convenience stores (7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart). The Apartment & Amenities The unit was remarkably spacious—a rare find in Japan for a group of four. Bedrooms: Two completely separate bedrooms, each equipped with two comfortable queen-size beds, giving everyone plenty of sleeping space and privacy. Living & Dining: A cozy living area and a full dining table where we could sit together to plan our days or enjoy meals. Kitchen: Exceptionally well-equipped with a full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and grill oven, making light cooking very convenient. Bathroom Setup: The bathroom and the modern Japanese-style toilet are completely separate, which made morning routines smooth and fast for four adults. Building: There is a balcony attached to the unit, and the building features an elevator, so getting up and down between floors with bags was completely hassle-free. Whether you are traveling with family or a group of friends, this apartment offers the perfect combination of space, comfort, and prime city access. We would happily stay here again when visiting Hiroshima!

The hotel's service and facilities are generally up to standard. For our stay, the room provided toothbrushes and essential toiletries, along with laundry facilities and drinking water, which was quite good. However, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel didn't provide shower caps. Also, room cleaning isn't done daily, so guests need to arrange for it according to their needs. As for the room rate, since it included breakfast, it's considered relatively inexpensive for a hotel in Hiroshima City. The only downside is that the hotel's location is a bit far from Hiroshima Station, making it not the most convenient. But it's closer to the Atomic Bomb Dome, which isn't too bad.

Opening the door using the key , not the cars key , the breakfast 🥞 s so so early must finish before 8:30 , 8:39 already need to be cleaned , and ask for turning the air con at 27 degree , outside is so hot , and check out so early 10am

The host was very responsive with how to get into the unit, just a note for other travellers the lockbox doesn't have an action after the code is lined up, just need to jiggle and pull the front of the box down and towards you to get it open. I was hoping to store luggage at the unit on arrival before my tour but was informed on the day with the instructions that luggage storage wasn't available. I would suggest only for younger groups for this unit as it is only accessible by stairs which are pretty cramped if you have large suitcases. To no fault of the owner it seems others have been using the stairwell as a smoking area so it does smell just outside the unit. The unit itself is very well equipped as an apartment unit which made it very cosy during our stay. The washing machine/dryer was easy enough to operate compared to many others and washing liquid capsules are provided. The location is the best feature as many good restaurants and Hiroshima station are all within 5 mins walk. Would highly recommend it to everyone else!
