The hotel is very close to Naban Pier, and the guesthouse owner will come to pick you up. They'll send you their contact information in advance via Trip.com. When you're about to arrive at the pier, just message them, and they'll tell you where to wait. They also help drop you off at the pier when you leave, which is very convenient.
The owner is *********, and several of the staff speak Chinese, while others speak Thai. We were lucky enough to get a sea-view room on the day we arrived, which was quite nice and even suitable for fishing. The overall environment is decent, though the smaller rooms can be a bit cramped. If you can snag a sea-view room, definitely go for it. We were fortunate that day as there was one available for a day, so we took it.
Our neighbor also rents out motorbikes, and you can get a slightly cheaper rate if you rent from them.

We stayed on Koh Larn for two nights after a long time in Pattaya and before heading back to Bangkok.
Samanta by the Sea was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The room was a great size, and it was even better that the hotel was only 5 min (walking) from the pier.
We were greeted by the owner and shown around. His friendliness and happiness were astonishing and so genuine.
Getting free noodles, bread, and coffee 24/7 was a lovely touch, too.
We can only recommend Samanta by the Sea and will stay here heapily again.

AlisaDPerfect getaway for a couple days, to be in the quiet and beautiful place. Deluxe rooms look new and modern, and personal roof terrace for each room makes the stay comfortable and relaxing. Soft sunbeds on the terrace and roof, covering from direct sun, let us stay at the place the whole day - we even did not go to the beach one day. We had the beautiful seaview from our terrace and we even could swim in the sea from the hotel’s private pier (it has usable ladder, which goes directly to the deep water).
The staff was really kind and attentive, helped us with all our “specific” requests. If you stay here for the New Year night - it’s also the perfect place to watch the main island’s fireworks show at midnight! We enjoyed it! Absolutely recommended!

LaiaaaaI really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful they organised transport for me every day to different beaches and around the island.
The pool is lovely and you can walk to a beach nearby but in general all the beaches are a short drive away.
They serve a nice breakfast and the rooms are huge and very clean and the baths are lovely!!
I will definitely come back.

Excellent place! There are four quite spacious bungalows, all detached from each other, making it very quiet and peaceful to sleep there. The breakfast is delicious. Keep in mind that you'll definitely need to rent a scooter as getting to the beaches on foot would be difficult. This place is perfect for a 2-3 day stay to explore the whole island.

DonCarloMila Kohlarn is definitely a “must-stay” hotel on Koh Larn Island. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent — easily one of the highlights of the stay.
The location is unbeatable: it’s literally right on Taewan Beach, so you can step out and you’re on the beachfront straight away. It’s also super convenient that you can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel to explore the other beaches around the island. You can order meals to your room.
A nice touch on arrival was the welcome drink — so refreshing, especially in the heat. The free pick-up and drop-off service between the pier and the hotel was also smooth and hassle-free, which made travelling with bags much easier.
Highly recommended if you want comfort, convenience, and a top location on Koh Larn.

Nice location near the pier, although you need to wind between some alleyways.
The view, as shown in the website photos, is not quite what you get.
Lovely breakfast, made to order.
Room and bathroom are both clean and comfortable.
Scooters are available for hire at the premises.

We stayed here for 11 days, during this time the room was cleaned twice, when the water/toilet paper/coffee ran out we had to beg the owner. The hotel is 2.5 km from Monkey Beach, 700 meters from Bali Hai Pier, there are many cafes/shops nearby. You can ask the owner for a bike (300) and a taxi (100). At night the music from the cafes is blaring, everything would be fine, but the singers are tone-deaf. It's nice to sit outside, but there are a lot of flies, ants and mosquitoes.
The garden is beautiful in autumn,

The hotel is located close to the pier. Check-in is strictly at 2 PM. However, you can leave your luggage and head to the beach, rent a sun lounger for 100 baht and stay there all day, as they say, but only until 4 PM. The area is beautiful, of course, with azure waters. There's a 7/11 near the hotel. You can rent a bike for 200 baht, also said to be for the whole day, but we didn't try it. What I want to say about the hotel itself is that we paid around 4-something for it, but it's not worth the money. Upon check-in, it was quite dirty, and the towel smelled awful; they replaced it with a clean one. The room has soap, shampoo, body wash, two bottles of water, and that's it. There are also two doors leading to different parts of the hotel. In the morning, I woke up to something crawling terrifyingly from one part of the room to another and got incredibly scared. A little later, I realized it was something running on the ceiling. After that, I couldn't fall back asleep. Thank goodness my husband woke up, and I felt a bit calmer.
