The room offers a stunning view and a strong sense of wabi-sabi design. The vanity is the second largest I've ever seen, after only the Ritz-Carlton Reserve. The bathing area is very spacious and uncrowded, with good attention to detail; all the plumbing is hidden. The overall sense of space is excellent. The minibar is well-stocked with drinks. It's quite close to the Yading scenic area, only a 16-minute drive for us. Because it was raining, the staff thoroughly explained all the essential items we'd need, which I really appreciated. 🙏

A great hotel, it was a pleasant surprise on our way back! Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha. The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan. The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~ The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~ In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~

This was my second stay at the Howard Johnson within three days. This time, I came back to the hotel to rest for a day after hiking down from Yading Village. The room was upgraded for free again, and the in-room amenities were still excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and of good quality. However, there were a few hitches. First, let me state that I personally have no prejudice against ******* people, but the ******* housekeeping auntie at the hotel didn't speak good Mandarin. I couldn't understand what she was saying, and she couldn't understand me. During my first stay, the TV wasn't working, and the auntie came to help. After a long time of trying, she eventually suggested that I video call the engineering department directly. The issue during my second stay was that the hotel air conditioning had no heating. After calling to inquire, the same auntie came again, and it was still like talking to a brick wall. She said she would find someone, but there was no news for a long time. I had to call the front desk and found out that no feedback had been received. After all that back and forth, eventually, a front desk lady and an engineering guy came up to check. They said a valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I felt it was taking too long, so I discussed whether I could change rooms. The front desk agreed and quickly prepared a new room key. The front desk and engineering helped me move my luggage. However, in the new room, the air conditioning still had no heating. It turned out the main valve wasn't open. Firstly, I've stayed at many Howard Johnson hotels under the Great China umbrella elsewhere, and this is the first time I've encountered AC that only has either cooling or heating. Secondly, I hope the hotel can strengthen Mandarin training for its staff. After all, this is a tourist town, and there should be more Mandarin-speaking guests than Tibetan-speaking ones. Thirdly, when such problems arise, the duty manager or housekeeping manager should step in to resolve them, not the front desk and engineering staff. Finally, I'd like to thank and commend the front desk lady and the engineering guy who came up that evening to help resolve the issues and move my luggage. Both of them patiently and meticulously sought out the problem and actively worked to solve it. Especially the front desk lady, who maintained a cheerful and approachable demeanor throughout her service.

The hotel is located near the scenic area's visitor center. It has parking, which is great for those traveling by car. There's a restaurant and supermarket nearby, making it convenient for dinner or meals before heading into the scenic area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the owner is very friendly, and the front desk service is excellent. Highly recommended for accommodation in Daocheng Yading.

This hotel is quite close to the entrance of the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, yet far enough from the busiest part of Daocheng County, which makes it a quiet retreat. The parking lot is huge, so you'll never have to worry about finding a spot. The breakfast is also excellent. The rooms are very spacious. Highly recommend!

這次出行選稻城雲棲算是選對了。酒店整體很有自己的氣質，環境乾淨舒服，不吵不亂，能讓人一下子放鬆下來。房間衞生做得細，住着踏實，床和枕頭也比較舒服，晚上睡得挺好。對於來高原旅遊的人來説，休息質量真的很關鍵，這家在這點上做得不錯。服務也很到位，細節上讓人覺得被照顧到了，整體性價比挺高。在稻城住了幾家以後，會發現雲棲這種讓人願意認真寫好評的店不算多。它不是浮在表面的那種“網紅感”，而是真正住進去會覺得順心。房間整潔、空氣和環境都讓人覺得放鬆，晚上很安靜，睡眠質量不錯。工作人員服務態度好，溝通起來舒服，不會讓人覺得生硬。旅行途中能遇到這種住得安心、體驗穩定的酒店，真的會給整個行程加分不少。

Loved the decor! The spacious environment was super comfortable. The curtains and bathroom facilities were in perfect condition, and the room was spotlessly clean. Any requests were handled promptly. The experience was absolutely fantastic!

Just returned from Daocheng Yading and stayed at the Daocheng Tianyue Hotel. The experience was truly excellent! It was warm and cozy as soon as we entered, instantly dispelling the chill and making us feel right at home. 🔥 The service was warm and welcoming: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions and helped with our luggage. They responded quickly to any requests. Especially regarding our anxieties about being new to the high altitude, they provided very practical advice and showed great care, making us feel very warm. The breakfast was plentiful and energizing: The breakfast selection was diverse, including both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was good. Hot porridge, noodles, eggs, side dishes, bread, milk, and coffee were all excellent sources of energy, laying the foundation for a day of hiking. The restaurant environment was also quite nice. High Cost-Effectiveness: Considering its location, facilities (especially oxygen supply and underfloor heating), and service, the Tianyue Hotel offers excellent value for money in Daocheng's unique geographical location. It provided solid logistical support for our trip. The staff were warm and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator, making it very comfortable to sleep at night. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. It was a very good stay, and I will stay here again next time I visit Daocheng.
