4-Star Hotels in Daocheng County

A great hotel, it was a pleasant surprise on our way back! Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha. The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan. The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~ The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~ In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~

The room was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, offering great value for money. The guesthouse's location is excellent, right across from the bridge in Shangri-La town, providing a beautiful view. Waking up and taking a stroll on the bridge to see the clear stream was truly idyllic. It's also not far from the Daocheng Yading scenic area, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, they have an underground parking lot with slow charging stations, which was incredibly convenient.

This time we drove to Daocheng and stayed at the Boland Cloud Hotel for two consecutive nights. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it! We arrived late at night, and I was worried about a troublesome check-in. To my surprise, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout. They proactively guided us to parking and handled the check-in process efficiently and patiently. The fatigue from our long journey instantly melted away. The hotel's facilities are top-notch for Daocheng. The oxygen supply system is especially friendly for guests worried about altitude sickness. The bedding in the room was soft and clean, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath and face towels, meaning we didn't need to bring our own toiletries, which lightened our load significantly. The entire hotel environment was quiet, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of travel. In addition, a buffet breakfast, laundry room, and robot service were all available. The location is very close to Shangri-La Town, making it extremely convenient for getting around and sightseeing. As a newly opened hotel in 2025, the facilities are brand new and spotless, the service is meticulous and attentive, and the value for money is outstanding. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Daocheng Yading. I will choose Boland Cloud Hotel again on my next visit!

This hotel is right in the heart of Shangri-La Town, making it super convenient for food and drinks. Getting to the Daocheng Yading scenic area is also a breeze – a taxi is about 20-something yuan, or you can take the yellow tourist shuttle for 10 yuan per person. The hotel lobby offers complimentary Rhodiola tea. The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the disposable towels and bath towels. I saw some reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and noise at night, but honestly, it quieted down pretty much by 9:30 PM. Breakfast starts at 7 AM, though it would be even better if it started earlier.

The hotel is located near the scenic area's visitor center. It has parking, which is great for those traveling by car. There's a restaurant and supermarket nearby, making it convenient for dinner or meals before heading into the scenic area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the owner is very friendly, and the front desk service is excellent. Highly recommended for accommodation in Daocheng Yading.

The hotel looks like it was newly renovated. I was afraid of smell at the time, but I was very attracted to the lobby. The decoration was very unique and there was no smell. I saw that the boss was very careful. It was my favorite style. The room was very new and clean as soon as I entered the door. It was very comfortable to sleep on the mattress. The room is not noisy, the breakfast is also very rich ～ Service: The hotel is almost all Tibetan waiters. The waiters in Litang were not very good at that time, but this one really had good training and the service attitude was super good. My room took more things and sent them quickly. Call this hotel crazy, good quality and cheap, you must give Amway ～ to friends who come here later.

I chose this hotel during my National Day holiday trip to Daocheng. Parking was very convenient, and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. The room even had a humidifier. These were the two best nights of rest I had during my trip. Every morning, I saw the staff mopping the floor, leaving the entire room sparkling clean – a rare find in a ******* tourist area. 來藏區玩選這家酒店真的太對了！房間大床房非常好房間也大，空間寬敞明亮，床品乾淨柔軟，睡起來特別踏實，高反的朋友也不用擔心，房間的供氧和保暖做得很到位，住着一點不鬧心，重點誇誇早餐！種類豐富到超出預期，現炸的油條、熱乎的牛奶白粥，還有包子饅頭、蛋炒飯、蒸紅薯，熱菜涼菜都很家常可口，新鮮水果也補充到位，吃飽了再出發，一整天都元氣滿滿。餐廳環境乾淨整潔，服務也很貼心，住得舒服吃得也香，來稻城玩強烈推薦這家！

This is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

There is also a mahjong room and a tea room, which is both entertainment and leisure. By the way, the hotel has free large parking lots and charging piles. There is no pressure to travel by car. It also provides conference services.
