GGuest UserA great hotel, it was a pleasant surprise on our way back!
Congratulations to the ”lobby manager” for his great personality. He provided considerate services such as welcoming guests, sending (hot spring) baths, accompanying breakfast (and asking you for a bite by the way), etc. Hahaha.
The hotel is located in the Rhododendron Valley. Although it was not the flower season when we arrived, we drove all the way and passed by alpine pastures and river valley streams. The hotel is not far from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. There is also the ******* Chitu Village a few kilometers away, and a niche viewing platform where you can see the sunrise Jinshan.
The hotel's signature hot spring is very good, and the hot water in the room is also hot spring water. After washing, the skin is smooth, and there is no sulfur smell, because it is a metasilicic acid hot spring? In the plateau area, there are three low, medium and high temperature pools. After a day of playing, I came back to soak in the hot spring to watch the stars, and applied a small mask. The experience was not too comfortable~
The hotel service is also very considerate. There will be a one-to-one reception sister when you arrive at the store (it should not be a designated person, but the one who is in charge of us happens to be a beautiful girl with a good personality), who will respond to the needs of guests at any time. Brother Dengmi at the front desk personally took us to see the Golden Mountain in the Rizhao Mountains, unlocking the sacred mountain experience at zero cost. By the way, Chitu Village is his hometown, a beautiful village where you can see snow-capped mountains, surrounded by mountains, with large grasslands, wild rabbits, ******* pheasants, and deer parks. It is worth staying here for a while~
In general, except for the location that may require self-driving, everything else is perfect, recommended~

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is right in the heart of Shangri-La Town, making it super convenient for food and drinks. Getting to the Daocheng Yading scenic area is also a breeze – a taxi is about 20-something yuan, or you can take the yellow tourist shuttle for 10 yuan per person. The hotel lobby offers complimentary Rhodiola tea. The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the disposable towels and bath towels. I saw some reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and noise at night, but honestly, it quieted down pretty much by 9:30 PM. Breakfast starts at 7 AM, though it would be even better if it started earlier.

GGuest UserThe room is elegantly decorated, with dry and wet separation, a humidifier, good bath water, TV cannot be projected, parking lots are both above and below ground, convenient for self-driving, and breakfast is average! The restaurant's dinner menu was excellent! Lots of food, delicious! It’s more than four kilometers away from the scenic area by car! Special reminder: If you drive yourself, you need to drive to the scenic spot parking lot. There is a large parking building in the scenic spot, and there is an elevator to the visitor center and ticket office. If you buy tickets online, you can go directly to the entrance of the scenic spot with your ID card! When you are approaching the entrance of the scenic area, someone will wave to everyone to drive into a parking lot. You must be extra careful. I don’t know if these parking lots are standardized, so it is better to be careful!

GGuest UserJust returned from Daocheng Yading and stayed at the Daocheng Tianyue Hotel. The experience was truly excellent! A five-star review is a must! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
* **Excellent Location, Convenient Transportation:** The hotel's location is fantastic! It's very close to the Yading Scenic Area Visitor Center, just a few minutes' drive away, saving a lot of valuable time and energy. This is especially important for tourists who need to get up early to enter the scenic area! Restaurants and supplies are also conveniently located nearby.
* **Warm and Homey, Thoughtful Facilities:** * **High Altitude Sickness Care:** As a high-altitude hotel, altitude sickness is a primary concern. The hotel thoughtfully provided diffused oxygen supply (our room had it), greatly alleviating the discomfort of arriving at high altitude. A good night's sleep is crucial for recovery! The room also had a humidifier, which was very effective against dryness.
* **Comfortable and Clean Room:** The room was spacious and warmly decorated. The bedding was soft and clean, and I slept very soundly. The bathroom facilities were modern, and the hot water was plentiful and reliable, making showering no problem at all (a rare find at high altitudes!). Our room also had a nice view.
The underfloor heating was excellent: The temperature in Daocheng drops at night, but the underfloor heating in the room was incredibly effective. It was warm and cozy as soon as we entered, instantly dispelling the chill and making us feel right at home. 🔥 The service was warm and welcoming: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions and helped with our luggage. They responded quickly to any requests. Especially regarding our anxieties about being new to the high altitude, they provided very practical advice and showed great care, making us feel very warm.
The breakfast was plentiful and energizing: The breakfast selection was diverse, including both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was good. Hot porridge, noodles, eggs, side dishes, bread, milk, and coffee were all excellent sources of energy, laying the foundation for a day of hiking. The restaurant environment was also quite nice.
High Cost-Effectiveness: Considering its location, facilities (especially oxygen supply and underfloor heating), and service, the Tianyue Hotel offers excellent value for money in Daocheng's unique geographical location. It provided solid logistical support for our trip.
Summary: If you're planning a trip to Daocheng Yading and looking for a hotel that's conveniently located, effectively addresses altitude sickness, offers comfortable and warm accommodations, and provides attentive service, the Daocheng Tianyue Hotel is definitely a highly recommended choice! It made our high-altitude trip much less worrying, and gave us peace of mind and comfort. Next time we're in Yading, we'll definitely choose this hotel again! 👍 Thank you to all the staff at Tianyue for their thoughtful service!

GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel during my National Day holiday trip to Daocheng. Parking was very convenient, and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. The room even had a humidifier. These were the two best nights of rest I had during my trip. Every morning, I saw the staff mopping the floor, leaving the entire room sparkling clean – a rare find in a ******* tourist area. Thumbs up! 👍 The hotel itself is also very unique! Overall, a fantastic stay, highly recommended.

🏨 The hotel facilities are super complete, you feel the warmth as soon as you enter the room, the floor heating effect is superb, and it is also intimately equipped with oxygen, so you don't have to worry about high reaction. In your free time, you can play billiards, experience self-service laundry and foot bath services, relax and comfortable. Families with children don't have to worry, there are no power fitness equipment and children's playground, so that children can play. There is also a mahjong room and a tea room, which is both entertainment and leisure. By the way, the hotel has free large parking lots and charging piles. There is no pressure to travel by car. It also provides conference services. It is too thoughtful. 👍
🍱 The dining is also very good, with special Chinese and buffet dishes, rich in variety, great taste, and every mouthful is satisfying.

AAbiu biu酒店看起來就是新裝修的，當時很怕有味道，但是一進大廳很吸引我，裝修很獨特，也沒有任何的異味，看出來老闆很用心了，是我喜歡的風格，房間一進門就看到很新，很乾凈，包括床墊睡起來很舒服，房間也不吵，早餐也很豐富～
服務：酒店幾乎都是藏族的服務員，當時在理塘的服務員態度都不是很好，但是這家看出來真的有好好培訓，服務態度超級好，我房間多拿東西也很快送過來，
