4-Star Hotels in Kampot

Very nice and laid-back hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. It’s a shame that the walls are thin since you can easily hear neighboring rooms. I didn’t mind that the hotel was across the river from the main restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc, as they could be reached within 20 minutes on foot. However, the surrounding area from the hotel looks a bit desolate and it has a lot of construction going on.

I costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts. The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided. Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder. The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good. I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

I had a great trip and really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would consider staying here again in the future.

The room is very big and clean. There is a swimming pool and a small supermarket downstairs. The front desk service is very good. I will continue to stay in this hotel next time I come to Kampot! !

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city. The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out. That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.

The receptionist was very busy because it was a public holiday in Cambodia. Yet they managed to organised their thoughts and be very hospitable despite so many requests. The room is big enough for our stay and with the door closed, no noise heard from outside.

Beautiful location on the river. Loved the greenery, the pool, the gardens, the peace and quiet. Very cooperative staff. Value for money. Will visit if I’m there next time.
