Great
JJamesThis place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel.
GGuest UserThe room was cleaned and friendly staff. However, I think the price was too expensive and I checked in at night though the key card was issued for the room that someone else already in it. So we have to come down to get another room. It was on a fifth floor but we were down to the 3rd floor next to the HVAC unit outside which was loud. It was not a bad stay or service but I wish it was better for $199. I wish we get a better room for that price.
KKEA typical American hotel, the location is right for me, right next to the relatives' home. The air conditioning sound is a bit loud. Service hygiene is fine. After all, it is an old hotel, and overall is quite satisfactory.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very old. There are few floors in hotels in the north and many rooms on each floor, so you have to walk a long way to get to the floor. The room was very clean and cleaned in a timely manner.
EEUNICE SKYOverall it was good. However, the toilet flushed 2-3 times on average, the room cleaning did not come at the requested time, and it was not clean. The dog in the next room kept barking, which was uncomfortable.
Qqmwhttrthe cleanliness of the room itself was fine, but the hotel seemed pretty run-down. the stairwell we took to get to our room was quite dirty (trash remained there for all five days we were there) and had a lot of cobwebs etc. the towels we got the first day had some weird dye on them? one of the days we got our room serviced but they only replaced our towels and did not reset our beds which was strange. it's also relatively far from o'hare compared to some other hotels. however, it's definitely livable and the rooms are quite large
GGuest UserThe surrounding environment is beautiful and the commercial facilities are complete. However, the hotel service is average, especially the front desk. She was not allowed to give us an extra bottle of water. What's even more bizarre is that we were not allowed to meet guests in the reception area of the lobby. They said we had to book a special reception room.
