5-Star Hotels in Yangzhou

Our first stop in Yangzhou was a stay at the Bing'ou Guesthouse, a century-old salt merchant's mansion. The front desk staff and other employees were incredibly friendly, always greeting us. They proactively showed us the way to check-in, breakfast, and afternoon tea. The hotel's location is also excellent, within walking distance of Pishi Street and Dongguan Street. We booked a standard room, but it seems we received an upgrade. The room was very clean and featured a spacious round bathtub. The TV quality was also noteworthy; watching movies in bed was very comfortable for two people. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so we had to be mindful not to disturb other guests. Breakfast was served next door. If you go early, you can grab a window seat with a garden view and enjoy some morning tea. However, we both found the taste to be just average, not as good as the Fuchun we had the next day. The afternoon tea drinks were average for a coffee shop, but the pudding was quite good. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

As a frequent traveler, I've stayed in many high-end hotels, including Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, and Mandarin Oriental. This was my first time staying at a Novotel, and the service at the Novotel Yangzhou was actually the best I've experienced across all high-end hotels. All the staff genuinely love their work, providing sincere and warm service that truly makes you feel at home. There were many delightful details: complimentary drinks, afternoon fruit, and turndown service with fruit, which are rarely seen in hotels of similar price offering such great value. I sincerely thank all the staff for giving my mother and me a wonderful trip and stay experience, and I hope more travelers can experience this outstanding service.

This hotel is perfect for family trips. The splash pad and beach were so much fun, we played for two days straight and didn't get bored. The indoor play area (Taoqi Bao) isn't huge, but it's just right for toddlers around two years old. My child loved the 'pet wake-up service' in the morning, and being able to feed them fruit – just remember to book in advance! The private hot spring in the room was very relaxing. The public hot spring water was a bit cloudy, so we opted for the private one both days. Plus, the dim sum at Quyuanxiangyuan nearby was delicious! 😋

After all, it's an established hotel. All the staff were warm and attentive, and although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. It's convenient to get anywhere from here. Just cross the road to go for dim sum at Yechun. Taking a boat from Yuma Wharf to Slender West Lake was very comfortable. Caiyi Street, Ge Garden, and Dongguan Street are all within walking distance. The hotel restaurant's food is excellent, and the breakfast has a strong Yangzhou flavor. It would be perfect if the parking lot had EV charging stations.

This stay was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining options and attractions nearby. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the exquisite design of the lobby. The overall environment was clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The front desk staff, Ms. Y, was warm and attentive, handling the check-in process efficiently and quickly. She even thoughtfully provided tips for exploring the surrounding area. The room was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were also new, and the toiletries were of good quality. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options, including both Chinese and Western choices. All in all, it offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The waiters were very nice and there were many breakfast varieties. The dinner included in our original package was a buffet. Because there were not many people, they changed it to a Chinese restaurant to save costs. However, the standard was lowered to only 200 yuan, and it was not easy to order dishes by ourselves. We could only eat the dishes prepared by the chef. In addition, when checking in at the front desk, I saw that other tourists who stayed in the room had upgraded their courtyard rooms to garden views. So our package didn't seem to be that cost-effective, right?

Experience a private hot spring, rich in metasilicic acid and lithium, exclusively at this hotel. It seems to be the only one around Yangzhou Slender West Lake that offers private hot springs. The hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The first round of the minibar included Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The hotel's location is excellent, with the East Gate of Slender West Lake within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you can easily find options for both breakfast and dinner.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The room was incredibly spacious with a great view. It's conveniently located next to a commercial area, making dining and even experiencing a Yangzhou-style scrub (a local bathing tradition) very easy. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, including detergent. It's very close to the Yizheng Baseball Field, just a 10-minute walk away. I have to especially commend the hotel service; they truly went above and beyond to provide whatever we needed. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The hotel is very large and the stay experience is good. Because it is the Chinese New Year, the children are very happy to set off fireworks at the door. The bed is also very big, the sleep is very comfortable, the surrounding environment is also very good, the air is also good, the park on the side is very comfortable.
