This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

Some Tips: • Due to its natural setting, mosquito repellent is recommended in summer. • Some areas of the hotel may have many steps; those carrying large luggage or with mobility issues should contact the hotel in advance for assistance. • Due to its popularity, especially on holidays and weekends, early booking is advised. In summary, Yixing West Bank Huangchuan Hotel has become one of the most highly regarded high-end resort hotels in Yixing and even the Yangtze River Delta region, thanks to its secluded yet accessible location, artistic design, guest rooms with direct views of the mountains and water, meticulous service, and immersive natural experience.

The hotel is huge and impressive, with many young and enthusiastic staff. The room is spacious and excellent in every aspect! There are plenty of shuttle buses, and many tickets were provided, which made the kids incredibly happy! I must highly praise the hotel's outdoor swimming pool! We visited on a weekend in early September, and backstroking while looking at the blue sky and white clouds was simply amazing! The water temperature was perfect, not too cold nor too hot, and the kids absolutely loved it! You can also use the pool for free even after checking out! The weather was a bit hot during our two-day stay, but the clouds were incredibly beautiful and stunning!

The butler service is well-established, with proactive communication before arrival, shuttle services within the park, and thoughtful welcome gifts, all with quick response times. The hardware is high-end, featuring private hot spring rooms with excellent privacy. Toiletries, bedding, and smart devices are all of high quality. Local amenities are comprehensive, with a full range of dining options, purple clay pottery workshops, and nearby attractions, making it a one-stop destination for a complete holiday experience.

The experience was fantastic—quiet, luxurious, secluded, and elegant, with excellent service to boot. The hotel boasts spacious grounds, making a leisurely stroll around the property feel incredibly relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and provide a great sense of freedom. Plus, it's convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Yixing truly is a wonderful place! There are also plenty of picturesque spots within the hotel for great photos.

Because we had children, we were given a free upgrade to suites for both rooms. The hotel was exceptional in every way, including free breakfast and a hot spring bath. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the front desk lady, Ms. Shen, who even gave us a small gift before leaving. There's a river trekking area not far from the hotel entrance, so afterward, we could return to the hotel and continue our trip with the kids to the hot springs, swim, and more. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. A perfect choice for summer water activities with kids.

I took advantage of the National Day holiday to visit Yixing and chose the second most popular hotel in Yixing at the time. I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Even before checking in, the butler, Gao Yuan, thoughtfully contacted me about my check-in time and other details, recommending various member activities within the hotel. He was always responsive and provided excellent service. I even tried the hotel's boat tour and travel photography services – everything was perfectly arranged. The area around the hotel is like a mini-Nianhua Bay, with restaurants and attractions all within easy reach. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stunning views at every turn. The room was fully equipped with thoughtful details: the bed was height-adjustable and offered massage; the bathtub had disposable liners and bath sponges; there was an instant hot water dispenser; and the complimentary eco-friendly tote bag was perfect for photos. …Everything here was convenient and cozy. I really loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located in Yangxian Tourist Resort, Yixing. The location and hotel quality are very good! The hotel is very large, with beautiful mountains and water. It is completely a park. You can really spend your vacation there with peace of mind. We arrived at the hotel late on the first day. In the night, we only saw the lights of Building 1 by the lake, which was bright and magnificent like a palace. There was also a waterfall made of lights on the hills in the lake. Because we were in a hurry to check in with the elderly, it was a pity that we couldn't take pictures of these night scenes. We stayed in a garden-view two-bedroom suite, each with an independent bathroom, so that young people and the elderly can not disturb each other. The room is large, clean, tidy and quiet, which is very suitable for the elderly to rest. The bathroom facilities are advanced and easy to use. The smart toilet lid is also linked to the bathroom door. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, I could see the theme garden outside the window. It was amazing! There are supporting facilities such as parent-child amusement parks, horse farms, open-air movies, etc. in the hotel park, as well as the villa area on the ridge. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up. You can stroll around the park at will, and there are scenes everywhere, and every shot is a blockbuster. Yaohu Town, a popular online attraction, and Longchi Mountain Bicycle Park are nearby. It is very close by car, almost across the street. This was a very pleasant and wonderful travel experience. My family was very satisfied and we will come back to enjoy it if we have the chance!

I booked a garden-view room but was upgraded to a premium lake-view room. The lake and mountains were breathtaking from the window. The breakfast selection was rich every morning, and we enjoyed the hot springs in the afternoon. There were over a dozen pools, some with additives and some with plain water, plus a hot stone bed and a steam room. After soaking in various pools, a session in the steam room was incredibly relaxing. Our butler, Sister Xiaowei, reminded us daily to keep our room stocked with drinks, fruit, and dry towels, and even suggested daily sightseeing routes. The entire stay was incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home.

A 5-star hotel in Dingdu Town, the hometown of purple clay pottery. It takes about 400 yen and takes 15 minutes by DIDI from the high-speed rail station. The spacious lobby has purple clay teapots displayed like a museum, and it takes an hour to see them all. On the first floor of the hotel, there are four purple clay teapot specialty shops, so if you don't have time to go out to town, you can purchase quality products within the hotel. The room is very spacious, with a large bathtub and plenty of hot water. The shower booth can be switched between a hand shower and a rainfall shower. The room is equipped with a purple clay stone teapot and tea tray tea set, as well as black and green tea leaves. There is also a thick guidebook of purple clay teapot owners on the writing desk, which will soothe your boredom at night. I entered the room just as the room was being cleaned, and the cleaning ladies were very kind to me, as I don't speak Chinese. I was really impressed. The breakfast is not as good as a foreign 5-star hotel, but it has a sufficient variety and quantity. It is a Chinese hotel, so the only flaw is that they do not provide chilled drinks or omelets. It is not the hotel's fault, but there are few restaurants around the hotel where you can eat alone (for some reason there are many hotpot restaurants). The nearest convenience store is less than 1 km away. That is the only negative point. I stayed in May during the China-United Nations holiday, so it was a little expensive, but normally this luxury hotel is around 7,000 yen, which is a bargain. Of course, I would like to stay again next time. From the window, you can see Huanglong Mountain, which reminds you of the mining of the past. This hotel is a dream hotel for purple clay teapot collectors. If you are a purple clay teapot fan from Japan, you should definitely try staying at this hotel, you will definitely not regret it!
