We had a lake view room, and it was fantastic.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Alainmar in the restaurant - great coffees.
The hotel is well presented and clean. The gym is pretty good. The breakfast is top notch.
The only issue I had, and it's quite important for me, was the wifi was not very good.

AAnonymous UserI had a very enjoyable stay at Meliã Yangon and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel is located in a peaceful area by Inya Lake, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy downtown traffic.
The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and if you get a lake-view room, the scenery is especially nice. Everything was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay.
The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled efficiently.
The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both local and international options, and the quality of the food was consistently good. The hotel also has great facilities, including a nice pool, a well-equipped gym, and good dining options.
Overall, Meliã Yangon offers a great balance of comfort, service, and value in a calm and scenic setting. I would happily stay here again.
