Suzhou Gusu District 5-star Hotels

I cannot recommend Pan Pac Suzhou enough. Firstly, the hotel looks like an attraction itself already. It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. Secondly, the staff are so hospitable and helpful - our Didi driver was being nasty and trying to scam us and the hotel manager immediately came out to help us mediate the situation, and gave us a upgrade - thank you! The stay was so plesant and the nicer hotel room really helped me feel better. I didn't manage to get the names of the staff as they changed shifts, but if you're looking for a place to stay in Suzhou, really really highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic hotel all around. One of the best hotels Suzhou has to offer and perfect blend of traditional Suzhou architecture with modern design. We loved our room and the staff were very helpful, gave us a late check out when I informed them my partner was suffering from food poisoning. Plenty of amenities in the fridge and the hotel gym is one of the best I’ve seen in China let alone Suzhou. We loved the breakfast as well as the bar that’s just around the corner from the lobby. Can’t wait to come back to Suzhou and stay here again.

The staff are very friendly and do their best to accommodate any requests. The location is excellent, situated very close to a subway station entrance. There are also many attractions nearby, such as canal cruises, as well as numerous restaurants within walking distance. One downside is that the hotel occupies only part of a multi-purpose building—specifically the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors—so it might be a bit difficult to find at first. Amazing hotel! Fans of Chinese traditional architecture, garden and ambience will simply love it! Big highlights : the interior pool with golden fishes, some tables paper and brush to do calligraphy, authentic old furnitures and art, and important: they have a free tai chi 太极 lesson on the morning! The only hotel I know providing this! The teacher is super nice and his moves are impressive! I recommend a try! (Just let the hotel know one day before)

Helpful and polite staff, rooms were very cute, hotel had a good tour on premise. Some rooms allowed smoking, we were given a smoking room for the first night(fully booked), they tried to treat the room to remove the smell as much as possible. They switched us to a non-smoking floor which made the stay a lot pleasant. Appreciated their effort to make customers feel welcome with great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Suzhou Gusuli. The hotel was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient—right across from a mall, making dining and shopping super easy. The service really stood out; the staff were so helpful, even lending us their local number to help us order *******. The only small thing missing was a full-length mirror in the room, but everything else was great. Would definitely stay again!

We got a nice free upgrade offered by the hotel to Deluxe Suite from our original Family Room due to the contractions going on. The room is amazing! It is very huge, even a bathtub jacuzzi. Breakfast was nice as well, but the staff is a little hostile, in my opinion. We went for the royal banquet, which was in the hotel for dinner. It was an interesting experience. Highly recommended to try. The hotel provides free access to the Panmen Scenic Area, which was a really nice place to visit. However, in our opinion, the hotel itself is already an attraction of its own.

Our stay at Suzhou Marriott Hotel was pleasant. The room was huge, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The aircon was cold enough, really efficient, especially during summer. The only downside is the fridge and the safe were both not working. We stayed in room 3203, and the housekeeping lady on our floor was kind and friendly. Would love to return again one day.

The guest rooms feature efficient and comfortable smart systems. The Executive Lounge meals are fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and offer a wide variety. The only drawback is that the gym, located on Level 2, lacks natural light, and the hotel rooms offer limited views. Shortly after placing our order, Ike, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, proactively called to inquire about our arrival time and arranged our rooms in advance. Upon learning we were a family, he thoughtfully provided welcome fruit and snacks. Throughout our stay, he provided numerous helpful reminders. His warm, thoughtful, and attentive service permeated every detail of our stay. The beautiful and gentle Sandra meticulously inquired about our needs during check-in and arranged an extra bed for us at the perfect time. Throughout the Executive Lounge experience, her sweet, considerate, and attentive service made our meal particularly enjoyable. I would also like to thank Ms. Chen Fang from the housekeeping department for her thoughtful and rigorous service, her big sister smile and simple words. Thank you for your care. Also, our sommelier Caesar is so cool at shaking cocktails. He also professionally introduced the origins and recipes of different cocktails to my daughter...wonderful!

This is a very unique hotel, staying here is more an experience rather than an accommodation. It's on a very busy pedestrian road, so you'll have to carry your luggage for some distance, the taxi can't drop you at the hotel. The rooms are very unique and the whole hotel is very unique to anything else you stay at. You'll love this unique experience, and the staff are very helpful. Experience it, it's worth it.
