We booked this hotel coz my kid got attracted by the swimming pool pictures but unfortunately, they are just pictures ... In reality it's just a decoration, not for swimming , you aren't allowed to use it ... Which made her very disappointed and destroyed her plans.
Anyway , room is big enough , clean , has whatever you need ( just you gotta wake up with first light coz it doesn't have blackout curtains)
Receptionists are super kind and helpful .
Location is ok , not many things around so you can enjoy the quietness.
Breastfast is sooo simple, noodles, egg and Baoza in a very very very small room ( can't be called restaurant) but it's ok.
My very humbe suggestions to them
1- delete these pictures of the swimming pool from your app and never ever mention you guys have outdoor swimming pool coz it's a lie
2- add blackout curtain to rooms
3- add Coffee to breakfast

We checked in a few minutes before the stipulated time. We understood that the room was busy during holidays and there were many guests. After repeatedly confirming that a room was arranged, the front desk personally took us to check in and explained how to use the pool in the room. It was really great, but here I hope to improve the front desk of this high-level hotel. First, the area is too small and there are only two computers. Although check-in is not a peak period at that time, the efficiency can still be improved. It will definitely be a bad experience to receive guests during peak periods. Second, I don’t know. Is it because there are not enough staff at the front desk of the hotel? When I came down later to ask where the free hot spring was, no one was waiting at the front desk. The rest of the hotel's hardware facilities are fine. I also believe that the hotel will continue to improve the front desk problem.

I like the environment very much. After a week of work, I came to a quiet and nice place to relax. I am afraid of cold weather, and it is still cold in the morning and evening. I didn't turn on the central air conditioner on the night of check-in. Turning on the hot air didn't work. Finally, the housekeeper sent me oil tincture, but it was too dry after turning it on, and it was cold when it was not turned on. I finished all the mineral water in the room and asked the housekeeper to send 4 bottles. The room is opposite the lake, but it is cold in the morning and at night🥶

It was a great stay in Peninsula Resort. Beautiful hotel with so many clay tennis court. Food was also good and fair price. Caoxi Temple is withing walking distance from the hotel. We experienced Budhist vegetarian lunch, was very nice and taste good. Big thanks to Edith Tan, she arranged everything we need during our stay. We’re surely will stay in Peninsula again if we visit Kunming.

Second review - this is a wonderful place to stay but I need to add that like most places in China smoking is still an issue. Although there are signs that smoking is not permitted in the forest pool areas, guests still routinely smoke while sitting in the pools. I saw one worker tell them to stop, most simply ignored them. The solution is actually very simple - remove them on the first infraction. Of course, given the number of people who smoke in China it is not that easy.

Let’s talk about the hot spring pool and swimming pool first. It is the cleanest public hot spring pool I have ever seen. The water quality of the swimming pool is also very good, and there are staff to salvage fallen leaves at any time. As for the room, it is quite spacious and the air conditioning is comfortable enough, except for a little wind noise, which is comparable to a windless air conditioner. The room is a bit old and there are some minor issues like the TV remote control not working, but everything else is good. There is a small detail worth noting. The mouthwash cup is not a tempered glass cup. If you accidentally drop it on the ground and break it while washing, the edges of ordinary glass are still relatively sharp and there is a risk of scratching your legs. Unlike tempered glass, the edges are relatively rounded when broken, so the risk of scratching is relatively small. As for the service, it's pretty normal for a state-owned hotel. At least they asked the waiter to bring two extra bathrobes and toothbrushes. In short, this is a business conference hotel. I came here at my own expense purely because I liked the hot spring pool and the swimming pool, which were very clean.

It’s great. I wanted to find a place to soak in hot springs during the Chinese New Year, and accidentally came across Anning Hot Spring, which is known as the best hot spring in the world. Then I accidentally came across Yuntao. Although it is not as famous as the other one, its supporting facilities are really great, very tasteful, and the set meal for two is really cost-effective. The service attitude is very good, the food is acceptable, I will come here often in the future. The only downside is that it was still raining on New Year's Eve, otherwise I might have soaked in the pool all day. The environment is good, the hot springs are great, and my skin feels smooth after soaking

I booked a standard room and got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. I was also given welcome fruit. Thank you very much! But the location of the hotel is not very good. There is a factory opposite. When I got up in the morning, I saw thick smoke from the opposite side! In addition, the breakfast is relatively simple, like a three-star hotel! The central air conditioning seems to be a decoration, and the temperature cannot be adjusted. The whole room is stuffy.
