Great
GGuest UserStaff were very friendly and resort was amazing. Staff organised a birthday cake with candles and a letter for my sister without being made previously aware of the birthday. We asked for dinner recommendations for her birthday and came back to find birthday cake and card. Great selection of food and restaurants with ample sunbeds around the pools and beach for tanning. We had a late flight so staff collected our luggage from rooms and stored safely, allowing us to continue using the resort facilities. Also able to shower and freshen up in the departures lounge before heading to the airport. Overall great experience, would definitely go back.

GGuest UserFabulous beach front location. Great grounds with beach, lawn, busy pool, quiet pool - something for everyone. Food varied and tasty. A watch out: if you are offered rooms 600+, you will be in the Residence part of the hotel - inland/have to cross a road to get there. Not all bad though as it has its own pool and bar with a lot less crowds. You will end up walking a lot though - which we didn’t mind, but others might. Not sure why the hotel restricts a la carte restaurants to once per stay instead of once per week. It was very empty when we went. Italian food was not that much better than main restaurant so you are not massively missing out. Store merchandise was very expensive, but not sure if this would be same across all hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

MMeralThe hotel’s beach was very beautiful, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only a woman and a man working at the bar in the morning were unfriendly. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and tasty, and having fish every day was perfect for me. The daily cleaning and towel changes were great, because in other places I visited in Greece, they only did it once a week. Having it done daily made me happy. The only thing I didn’t like was that the rooms weren’t soundproof, so children in the upstairs and next-door rooms were playing with balls and dragging furniture, which was quite disturbing. Overall, I left satisfied. Thank you, Mistis Family Village.

GGuest UserWe booked two days when we tried to extend our trip, we wanted a double bed for the second day and paid Trip com. However, they combined two single beds in the room given to us and accepted the room as a double room. I told Trip com that they gave a gift score. That's why we didn't like the 2nd day room. The additional fee for the sports hall is also a disadvantage. TV channels are very limited. Breakfast was very beautiful and tasty.

GGuest UserLoved everything about the Akti Palace (room, staff, food, cleanliness), except the sunbeds. They were far too low and difficult to get on and off and very uncomfortable (no cushions and metal framed made it extremely hard, to lie on, for any length of time).

GGuest UserPositives: We stayed in a Bungalow Family Room which was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a lovely outdoor area. It was quiet and peaceful. Towels were changed and bins emptied daily. The hotel is perfect for families with younger children (up to about 8 years old). We went with two boys (4 and 8), and they loved it. The two slides kept them entertained, and the beach bar was excellent—always cocktails and snacks available. There were plenty of sun loungers, especially on the beach, with no need to wake up early to reserve. That made the stay very relaxing. The entertainment team was great—friendly, not pushy, and always offering activities. They were amazing with children, and the mini disco was the best we’ve seen so far, with all the staff putting their heart into it. Evening entertainment suited all ages, and we especially enjoyed the beach party. Negatives: While most of the staff were lovely and smiley, the reception team was disappointing (except the lady who did our check in efficiently on the evening we arrived and explained everything). On several occasions when I asked questions, they seemed abrupt and in a hurry, even when no one else was waiting. The biggest drawback was the food. It really needs improvement and is the main reason for the lower rating. Most meats were dry, with little variety. Even simple dishes like Greek salad were below standard. The buffet was very pork-heavy, which made it difficult for us on some days since we don’t usually eat pork. Desserts were the worst part, mostly inedible, just cream and jelly-like options. The wine was also very low quality. Another issue was cleanliness of the public bathrooms, especially those near the pool. They were not well maintained, and I even saw a cockroach in one of them. Our room also had these tiny worm like snakes (apparently harmless and called ”blind snakes”) We first thought it was one that lost her way but we ended up finding one or two everyday and getting them out. We did ask someone to come and sort it out, but they told us they were harmless and didn't do anything other than getting them out. We love the sustainability concept and appreciate that they grow their own vegetables, but unfortunately, we didn’t see this reflected in the meals. It made us wonder if it might be a bit of a waste of time and money, since the menu didn’t seem to highlight those fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. As a whole, we felt everything about the hotel except the food was great but on this basis, we wouldn't come again.

EEric MilAn excellent holiday hotel. The rooms are spacious and light. The kitchenette and it's contents are adequate. The pool, the pool area and the bar are excellent. The cleaning staff are rather noisy from about 7.00 in the morning. Lots of shouting to each other and doors banging, echoing along the corridors.

DDutemplarAwesome last minute trip. Great and friendly staff. With it being the very end of season, a few minor things were less than perfect but quite understandable for a late October holiday. The buffet was overall good, varied, and unlike some other places I saw recently - routinely changed out the hot food to keep things fresh. Excellent price point, and would be happy to go back.

ИИрка-путешественницаA very pleasant hotel with only one drawback, which can also be considered a plus: it's located a little way from the nearest town of Masteheri. Walking there during daylight hours is easy and pleasant: a beautiful path runs along the sea. However, after dark, you'll have to either take a taxi or walk in the dark. The path along the sea and part of the road are unlit. The hotel always offers a delicious and varied breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, I don't eat much, but I really enjoy what I do eat. They have different types of omelets, lots of vegetables, mushrooms, olives, fruit, and snack sandwiches with tomatoes and cheese (top notch!). That's what I eat)) And there are also lots of baked goods, cakes, sausages, ham... In short, no one will leave hungry, even me with my restrictions and diets. 😄 The rooms are cozy and clean, the reception staff is pleasant and polite. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is huge, like a mirror, and there are picturesque palm trees everywhere. The sea is nearby, the beach is gorgeous, and the sunsets are scheduled every evening, each one better than the last. P.S. Again, it's all about the food. 🤣

RRees-Tom JonesThe hotel's prime position, adjacent Kos Marina, ensures that guests are never far from the action, yet the rear pool area offers a peaceful retreat.
