Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. Pool Rules: - The pool can be heated with a $100 fee per day. Please let our team know 24 hours before you would like the pool to be heated. It can take some time for the pool to heat depending on the outdoor temperature. - The hot tub will take about an hour to heat up. Once started, it will run for three hours and then turn off automatically for 15 minutes for safety purposes. To turn it on, please reach out to us and we will do it for you. - Swimming pool or hot tub should be used at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 should be supervised at all times. - No glass allowed in and around the pool or hot tub. - For health, safety, and maintenance reasons, pets are strictly prohibited from entering the pool. A $500 fine will be charged if this rule is violated. - Please note that the pool heater may struggle to maintain temperature if it's below 45°F. If the temperature drops below 35°F, we will be unable to turn the heater on, as it cannot function effectively at that level. Trash: A dumpster is located at the top of the hill for your convenience. HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us. Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services. As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Please feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink.
