Hongqiao Hong Kong-style tea-drinking restaurant is exquisite and delicious. The larger the portion, the better. The breakfast has a variety of choices. The surrounding environment of Jianshanbei Reservoir is very good. The exterior and interior of the clubhouse are very beautiful. The facilities inside are complete. There are Chinese restaurants, Western restaurants, POP, gym, swimming pool ..., etc. are very rich. The rooms are spacious and the toilets and bathrooms are independent. It is super convenient to use. There are various trails, attractions and amusement facilities in the resort, especially the lake painting is a great experience, good mountains, water and fun, the whole experience is very good, definitely worth a visit here~

The hotel room is relatively simple. Because there are wheelchair families traveling, the room on the lobby floor is arranged. There is no elevator upstairs and the sound insulation is poor. But walking at night on the quiet dam is very pleasant, and accompanying the elders to travel with the memories of the Batian and the Memorial Park.

Old furniture and building. Provide free car parking which is great in center of Tainan, but need to stamp at lobby ticket which guardian gives you at parking. When I have asked for separate blanket (for double bed) they said they only can give plaid. When they has given it to me I found it is stinky, so I asked them to change for clean.

The FX Hotel was an excellent choice for our 3-night stay in Tainan. The location is in the heart of the West Central District, meaning that popular sightseeing and food spots are just a few minutes walk away (I highly recommend Chef’s Cap Indian restaurant literally just around the corner from the hotel!). The room came with a very good shower; a bidet-style toilet which was quite tight; a comfortable bed; a desk and a sofa. We requested two extra pillows and had them quickly. The restaurant’s breakfast was not very diverse but what they did have tasted very good. All in all, I would stay in this hotel again as it was very good value for money - if for nothing else, then for the location alone!

Strategically placed in the center of Tainan City, smack bang middle of the transportation hub. It is right behind the Main bus stations (North and South) which all buses in the city stop by (some start from those stations), so it would be very convenient for you to get around. As for the Train Station, it is a 3 minute walk from the hotel, which makes easier for people to travel further but still feel close enough to comeback. The hotel it self its pretty okay. The beds are clean and soft, they have a big bathroom, and spacious rooms for the most of it. For a budget hotel, i think its about worth it. The only downsides in my opinion are the windows, they layered them with black stickers and leave maybe a 10-20 cm gap that we can see through. Though it was buildings only buildings outside, feeling that you have more window view wouldn't be so bad. And the other thing, is the walls are a bit thinner, so it could not contain our noise neither our neighbours. Still, I understand that's a trade off. Overall, It's an okay place to stay.
