Hôtel is too old and not well maintained at all, most of the area I found dust, hair etc…. Suspect where those positive comments were coming from.
Photos in trip.com doesn’t reflect the real situation at all. However I found more valid comments are in Google. Felt being cheated.
Hotel is too old but i found they are more willing to invest on public areas but not the rooms.
The whole building full of mold smell, you feel it once you entered the building so this is why they air-con maintained in high fan and coldest temperature.
The room was filled with of mold smell even with the air purifier in room and air-conditioning set to 10 degree with high fan. I requested for room change but was told all rooms smelled the same which I believed so. I end up wearing mask while sleeping like I’m staying in a hospital… insane.
I googled the hotel after my stay I found a Chinese comments in the picture which completely speaks my mind

Fantastic stay at this hotel with prime location and easily accessible transportation. Hotel staff are friendly and room size is good.

I love hotel rooms with windows. This room has a nice window which is able to be opened for ventilation. Love it!

The airport bus number 1960 stop just two minutes from the hotel it is convenient for buses and Metro and there are many restaurants and shopping centres around . The hotel is itself is old, the include breakfast is only sandwich in a café located 200 meters away from the main building the hotel provided free soft drinks and snacks. The hotel service is good and the staff are very polite.

Situated at 3 MRT stations away from Taipei Main Station, it is great location for exploring Taipei City. We got a good deal so the price is reasonable. Renovations were in progress the place looks a bit unkept and the room feels somewhat dusty. The room interior/fitting are very old but functional. The Jacuzzi us not working as hence only serve as a bath tube. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast (only tried once) is at a separate venue. It is cafe with limited menu but reasonable quality.
Overall, not delighted/impressed but nothing really to complain about.

The shower in the bathroom was unusual. It was Very low and it was up to my knee. Not able to take shower in standing up position,must be bend down which is so weird.
