Taipei Songshan District Hotels

Pros 1 The bathroom is an automatic toilet and has a bathtub. 2 The location is very good. Exit MRT Songshan exit 2 and walk into Raohe Market or cross the road to the hotel. 3 There are Family Mart and 7-11 nearby. 4 The staff are friendly and can speak English. 5 There is 1 universal power plug, which is normal power. Cons 1 Even though we told the maid to clean it every day, she didn't wash the bathtub, which was fine for us. We were the only ones using the bathroom. The room was cleaned like we were just taking out the trash and making the bed. 2 There was nothing to watch on the TV. 3 The walls are thin, so you can hear the water and the sound of the next room often, but not loud enough to be understood.

Super nice and quiet hotel. Prime location that's just a few minutes walk away from Raohe Night Market. It's also a quick walk away from the train and metro station. The room is clean, only quirky part is that the basin/sink is outside of the toilet (i.e. in the room on the long desk table). But no issues with that at all. Even though it's near Raohe Night Market, it's behind it, so it's definitely not noisy. You can get good quality sleep at night. No worries at all. Will definitely recommend this hotel for those that want to stay in a prime location when visiting Taipei.

Hotel has a very nice theme and design. My room is super cozy, big and nice and I love it! Staff are very friendly also. Free drinks in mini fridge is very welcoming! Location is accessible, it’s 5 min to Taipei arena metro. Bed is comfort and nice bath tub. Please note that the shower and toilet are glass door and can see through. There’s also no separating curtain for shower area. If you are traveling alone or is couple, and is fine with the see through glass door for toilet and shower room, then highly recommended!

Great location and great breakfast. You can see Taipei 101 from their room and the famous local cake shop - Chiate is 5 mins walk away. Arena Mrt station is only 6 mins walk. We stayed there on 30 Dec to 1 Jan in which the room rate was more expensive but still worth paying for watching the fireworks at Taipei 101. The service was good with helpful staff at the counter and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is not so new, cleanliness and service not bad.  Very good to have laundry service. Should consider upgrading more charging ports.  Also upgrade pillows to harder ones.  Should add iron. Overall is good. I will recommend friends and I will return if I come Taipei next round

Our 2 bedded room is the best. It suits our backpacking style travel. It has a bench, a place to lie down on window, a refrigerator, a tv and most importantly toilet with bidet!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ However, the breakfast option is not many especially to those with dietery restrictions. I hope that hard boil egg + veggies is a must have items for every breakfast. Some people just cant take herbal egg. It is acquired taste for some although i recognize that the hostel serves majority of its customers, *********. Anyway, it was a great hostel for two traveling buddies.

It was decent, and there’s always a person in the front desk. It’s near walking distance from Raohe Street Market, but might take you 10-15 mins to walk to the nearest MRT station.

Very clean and pretty new hotel. I’m very particular about cleanliness haha. They are located in the middle of the night market, which only comes alive at night. Love that its a 7 mins walk to the nearest MRT. Bed was rather comfy too. Would recommend to those who wants a bang for their buck!

Location: 5mins walk to Brown and Green MRT lines. Hotel Staff: super friendly with greetings in & out Amenities: coin washing machine and dryer at backyard; gym; huge bathroom with bath tub & shower cubicle (equipped with upper body massage shower heads but not well cleaned/maintained); Great 👍🏼: room bar filled with crackers, bottle water, coffee/tea satchets and packet red tea 👎🏼 Room interior cannot place 2 big luggages, need to keep them closed and upright.
