Taipei Xinyi District Hotels

The hotel is near an MRT station and is very convenient. It's located in a very busy area with many shops around, mainly clothing stores and street food stall type 'restaurant'. The lift is very small but the room was surprisingly big, with minimalist modern decor. But I find that the design was not at all practical nor user friendly. Upon entering the room there's a small step up and one can trip and fall if not careful. The washroom is also quite big, but then the basin area is very small and really lack of space around to put your toiletries. The package of toilet paper is placed on the water tank behind the toilet so it's hard to get the toilet paper upon finishing your 'business'. The bath towel rack is quite far away from the shower so it's hard to reach when you finish your shower. The bath tub is a jacuzzi type tub but it looks so filthy and gross, you wouldn't want to sit in it! There is no shower curtain so when you take a shower, the water will spray all over. The design actually doesn't make sense and in my view it's quite poor. The open closet is very small and not exactly adequate even for one person! In addition, some areas are quite run down, poorly maintained, and quite gross indeed. And I found hair on the bathroom floor from the previous guest!

Location: Hotel was very near to the iconic taipei 101 building, just step out from the hotel and u can see it already. It’s also nearby 2 MRT (xinyi anhe and taipei 101), across the street is the louisa cafe which is very cheap in price and the ambiance is good as well. 7/11 and family mart also is nearby. Also, hotel is beside the main street so in the morning u will def wake up because of the car noises outside. Cleanliness: Some area are dusty, never clean to well. You have to request for clean up so they would clean the room. One time, we asked for the room to be clean but they only replaced the towels and water bottles, empty the trash but never even sweep the floor!! 👎👎👎

I had a smooth and comfortable stay during my business trip. The location was convenient, check-in was quick, and the staff was professional. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with a good work desk and fast Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. Breakfast had a good variety, and the business facilities were useful. Overall, a great choice for business travelers. Would stay again. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

The hotel room is very comfortable, clean, and spacious, booked at a discounted price from Trip.com. Level one concierge Nico was very friendly and helpful when I went downstairs to collect my midnight supper delivery. Special thanks to housekeeper Ricky. Hotel is in the best location, nice view of Taipei 101 at level 7 swimming pool area. Metro is just across the road past some shops. There are street performers on the walkway behind the hotel in the evening from 6 to 10pm.

Great location as it is close to MrT stations, also close to several banks, restaurants and supermarkets. The CBD is within a walking distance. Bring your toothbrush as hotel does not provide it but they provide towels, slippers, nice snacks, nice instant coffee and tea and not the low end instant coffee from the same brand which you will find around the world. Moreover 2 small cola cans and soemthing else was provided, 4 (not 2) L0.5 water bottles. I highly recommend if you visit Taipei but be aware that check in was at 16:00 (not sure if it is always) and check out was @11:00

Welcome drinks at the lobby The view of 101 was amazing outside of the hotel and just across the street. Xinyi shopping district were just a few minutes walk, variety of bars and clubs for choices around here. The commute is convenient too, just at the 3rd exit of Taipei 101 MRT

Property a little outdated, but still functional, very clean, and good service. If you need to stay near 101 Definitely one of the most value for money options you may have

The eslite group never disappoints. Quiet coffee, working plus reading area is just inside the entrance. The reception staff are friendly and professionally trained. The room is clean, nicely decorated and all sockets are conveninetly designed- unlike the highly rated Alisahn hotel that we just stayed, but decided to leave earlier due to the unpleasant experience. Since it is the Chinese New Year period, the entrance and lobby were decorated with red flowers, full of festive spirits. Will be back again

Everything is wonderful, except one thing, very noisy in the weekend at night until morning. There are few pubs and clubs next to and nearby. I can hear the music and people chatting outside when I am sleeping in my room located at 6F. Highly recommend if you love nightlife！

It is within a few minutes' walk from Taipei 101. The room is not large, but it is equipped with a TV (you can watch YouTube), a refrigerator, a hair dryer, 4 hangers, a water heater, coffee & oolong tea, 2 bottles of water, and towels (large and small). The staff were all kind and quickly fixed the TV problem, and even lent us an electronic mosquito repellent when there were mosquitoes. There was a bathtub, but it was too large and took too long to fill it with hot water, so it was not practical. Just make do with the shower. Hot water comes out quickly.
