Taipei Shilin District Hotels

The hotel is located about 1.5km from Jiantan Station, which makes it inconvenient to walk with luggage. It’s best to take an Uber or taxi to the hotel. The room is very luxurious and spacious, with a reasonable price for the area. However, cleanliness did not meet my expectations, as I noticed quite a lot of hair. I believe the room should be vacuumed daily, as it’s normal for people to shed. There was a disturbing white noise throughout the night, possibly from the piping or noise from the room above. It affected my sleep and was quite a setback, as nights should be quiet and the room should ideally be soundproof. Overall rating: 7.5/10.

It was a perfect hotel for our family. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Towels and slippers were good quality too. We loved a fitness gym and the restaurant. Staff was very nice, kind and flexible. It smelled really nice and decor was stylish. MRT Red Line is also very convenient for all places that the first time visitor of Taipei would want to go. Definitely recommended.

room size was good. unfortunately my ear bud was lost during the stay and it was not found in the room. had call the reception and they did not find it in the room.

I recently stayed , and overall, it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed, including [Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, air conditioning, etc.]. I especially appreciated [mention a standout feature—e.g., the beautiful view, spacious bathroom, complimentary breakfast]. The location was very convenient,If I had to point out one area for improvement.

We spent a comfortable 5 nights in this hotel. Rooms are a nice size, warmly furnished and comfortable double bed! Bathroom is spacious with separate bathtub and shower. No meal options but many food places or convenience stores very near. A nice thing was the water dispenser and a coffee machine for guests downstairs.

I stayed at power suite for 3 nights the room is so comfortable and with the Mountain View. The breakfast although not much variety but is great breakfast. Will definitely revisit if I go to Taipei.🥰

Next to the Zhishan MRT to Shilin. freshwater. Beitou is very convenient. The hotel currently does not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. Shower cap. shaver. Buy a set of two toothbrushes from the counter for 20 yuan. The only thing I'm not used to is that there is no mineral water in the room and I have to go to the lobby. The room has high ceilings, is simple and nice

I liked about this hotel very much and few points are as below- 1. Lovely and luxurious feeling by residing in this hotel. Every facility gives you a feel of a luxury hotel such as bed, entrance, doors of the room, staffs curtsy. 2. Breakfast has wide variety including one option for vegetarian person as well. They serve you as you order and staff try to help as much as possible with there little English language. 3. All receptionist speaks fluent English. Nearby National Museum and very good view from hotel of nearby mountains. 4. Bedding and bathroom were spacious. Even though little far from main Taipei city but it is worth to stay here rather then in busy city environments.

The room was not clean and had hair from the previous tenant. The shower head in the shower room was very poor, and the hot water ran out after a while, making it very inconvenient to take a shower. Only the location is very good, 1 minute walk from the subway station

The hotel is newly renovated, a big plus! But the location is a bit further unless this is the area you’re visiting, then it’ll not be a problem for you. We arrived the hotel at night, the night shift lady didn’t feel very welcoming or friendly. They have pretty decent Chinese style breakfast buffet, few stir fried veggies, and other original food (non processed) options which I appreciate and thought was great! The hotel is small so there is not much amenities like business center you can use the laptop and hangout for a bit if you arrive early or need to stay a few extra hours after checkout. You can only stay at the lobby. The view of the room is quite nice if it’s a sunny day and the product they use is decent which is a big plus!
