3-Star Hotels in Taipei

My parents thought that the hotel’s location was excellent. There were a variety of restaurants and stores near the hotel. It was not too far from the MRT as well. The tea provided in the room was good. It seems that the guest rooms have been updated as the room that they stayed in was better than the last time. The front desk staff members were very kind.

Need to carry your luggages up to the level via lift; can be a hassle if you have too many luggages as the lobby is at level 10-11 (forgot which). The room is very basic; u got to take your own toothpaste/brushes at check in lobby as they don’t provide inside the room. Location is great though; just opposite XMD and downstairs there is a 7-11. We tried to ask for late check out but can’t. Overall a alright stay, won’t leave you very much deep impression. My kids were sitting at the arm chair and touched the curtain, lots of dust came down too 😅😅😅 so cleanliness wise need to improve for sure. Only plus point is the awesome location & affordable rates!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is fantastic, the overall experience was mixed. The hotel is situated in a vibrant and funky neighborhood, full of small street food restaurants that give it a great local charm. If you're into exploring authentic, lively spots, this area is perfect. However, the hotel itself is quite worn down. It’s marketed as a ”Design Hotel,” but the room I stayed in was far from what I expected. My 12m² room felt cramped and humid, and the lack of room cleaning, while not a major issue for me, could bother some guests. The floor was noticeably worn out, which added to the tired feel of the place. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time outside, it works. But if you're after a comfortable stay with modern amenities, this might not be the best choice.

The staffs are wonderful, prepared for your arrival, know your booking and special needs, support in many ways. We like the breakfast. Bathroom and toilet, if additional shelves for clothing would be nice. My second stay here.

A bit tucked away so had some difficulty trying to locate it the first time I arrived but there is a large night market about two minutes away which made the stay worth it. Very clean, kind and helpful staff with an efficient check in/out service

The hotel is located in Ximen, just outside of the Ximending shopping area. There are many shops, convenient stores, small eateries, and foot massage place. It is quite a vibrant area. The hotel is very clean and the room is quite spacious despite its very affordable price. There are also hot water dispensers at each floor. Highly recommended!!

The hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

I stayed here for the first half of my Taipei trip, the hotel is perfect for solo travellers. The room is a great size with fantastic amenities (Nespresso machine and Dyson hairdryer! Tv with Netflix included). The room may be a little cosy for a couple but I think it would be fine! Hotel lobby had a lot of cute things you could buy like souvenirs; patches and pins. They also offered maps etc. and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, could speak mandarin and English. I arrived before check in, and leaving my luggage was not a problem, they also let me freshen up after my flight and change my clothes in the bathroom (which also had a shower!) Communal kitchen area with a fridge, washing machine and water tap (which could make soda water!). I loved staying here and would definitely stay again!

The room is not big, focusing on functionality, but because it is really small, I suspect how to put the luggage when many people stay, and there is no luggage rack, only on the ground. The window can be opened freely, if the children may be careful. Because the hinterland is small, the door is the bathroom when you open it. And facing the toilet, a bit uncomfortable. The sink is on the outside of the bathroom. It is Toto's sink. Toiletries have toothbrushes and toothpaste, combs, cotton swab bags, and soap. The shower gel is an environmentally friendly bottle. The mattress is very thick and comfortable to lie down, but the quilt is silky and not used to it. However, the sound insulation is indeed not good, and you can hear the door outside. Crossing the road on the same side outside is the whole family, and the opposite side is Xiaoqi, which is convenient at night. The bathtub is about 150cm, so you have to curl your feet, but the water volume is large and hot, so it is not bad, and the grip is also made into a non-slip style, which is very good. Outside the two bottles of water, the kettle is Oscar (not known to use), the tea bag is Tianren and oolong tea and fragrance slices, but the coffee is a three-in-one package of UCC, I hope to change it to a black coffee bag. Breakfast is a plate, there are several choices, the coffee tastes good. 7F There is also a children's play area, It looks very clean. The service staff at the counter is also calm and gentle. It’s just that the room is really small. I saw many Japanese messages, because the accommodation fee is not a low price. I don’t know why everyone chooses this way.

Honestly, the location is better than expected though on the map it looks pretty far from the metro stations. Also partly the fact that we were blessed with good weather during our stay, hardly rained. Only downside of the service is that they only make-up your room upon request but its actually alright for us. Daily free bottled water alao upon request. Soundproof wise I would say just the waterpipes are pretty noisy, and being on 2nd floor, hardly to not get noise from the street but located at the corner of Ximenting kinda works out to be quieter. Garbage trucks clearing at 1am so if you sleep early, probably doesnt matter. Centralised water heater so will take awhile to get hot water but water pressure is good and water is hot.
