Hot Spring Hotels in Taipei

Wellness descends upon arrival at this hotel. I must say we were blown away - by the design and experience. This was an excellent hotel and environment and one of the best stays in Taipei our family had. There is welcome snacks and drinks and a very serene peaceful space in every corner of the hotel. We enjoyed the quiet ambience and respectful service by the various staff. The in-room onsen bath is a highlight of the stay. And the beds (we had a large king) was simply divine. The mattress topper was superb, firm and yet supportive and comfortable. The variety of pillows available made our sleep sweet. I have to commend the quality of bedding - it is excellent! The decor and room is elegantly well-designed with thoughtful details, we appreciated it so much. I would definitely come back to Beitou again just to stay here again! The service, food, hot spring tub were excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I wish could have been better is the outlets to plug my phone into. We couldn’t find one in the bedroom/sleep quarters (Japanese tatami). So make sure to bring a portable charger if you don’t want to be away from your phone. Another advice would be more of a treat if they provided a face mask and sleep wear. The reason I’d suggest this is because another competitor hotel of theirs provided very considerate toiletries for the ladies and I think that was a HUGE plus for me considering we spent a lot of money for one night. Anyways, overall villa 32 is great if you just want to spend a few hours to relax.

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

Overall, my experience with the hot springs was pretty good, but there's a rather serious safety issue I need to highlight. First, the positives: The environment and cleanliness were above standard. The room was tidy and odorless, making for a comfortable stay. There are also some attractions and places to explore nearby, so the location is generally convenient, perfect for a relaxing getaway and a short trip. However, the room's design presents a clear hazard: there's an uneven floor with a noticeable drop that's hard to spot at night when not all the lights are on. I nearly tripped and lurched forward, hitting the TV directly. If I had actually fallen or hit something harder, it could have caused a rather serious injury. I strongly recommend the hotel takes this seriously, at the very least by providing clear warnings or improving the lighting and flow of the room's design. To sum up, the basic accommodation experience was okay, but this safety concern cannot be ignored. If this could be improved, the overall rating would go up significantly.

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants. One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right. Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

The room is clean and big. There is also a small patio ,but unfortunately it was raining, so we didn't get to enjoy it much. The spring bath inside the room is a bonus, very relaxing and no need to go through the hassle of being naked in public bath. The spring water bath made my skin smooth and soft. The hotel also has public bath and will offer 2 free entries during our one night stay. Will definitely consider to come back again as it's so convenient to get to, only 35 minutes from Taipei station.

It was really nice having a private hot spring in the room, and the quality of the spring water was excellent. The surrounding environment was also lovely. Today's temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius, so soaking in the hot spring warmed me up perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. I was surprised by how many rooms there were in the three-story building. I thought it might get crowded with only one elevator, but there was no significant congestion during breakfast or check-out times. Downstairs, there's a Carrefour, a French supermarket chain, where you can find pretty much anything you need. They even sold fresh ********* beer with a surprisingly short 18-day shelf life. Next to it, there's a Starbucks. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. I'd definitely like to come back again.

The location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the MRT station. The room has its own private hot spring, and the view is a natural park scene, which is really comfortable. My only complaint is that the hot spring tub is quite high and there's no stool provided to help get in and out, which made it difficult every time.

I loved the outdoor hot spring pools, there are several ones of different temperatures and features. Staying in the hotel allows you to use the outdoor pools for free. It was relaxing to soak in the hot spring pools while enjoying the fresh outdoor air. Inside the hotel room also has hot spring tubs. The room was a bit dated, but clean and tidy overall. Breakfast was quite good too.
