Artinn is a great budget hotel to stay at if you need to get to the main station quickly. It's very, only about a 7 minute walk for us. It also sits between the red and green lines of the MRT. The hotel was a bit old and outdated, but was overall relatively clean. The room we booked was very roomy, especiallyfor the area. For some reason, the room had curtain to give the illusion of a window even though this was a no window room. It would have been fine without the curtains. I did notice that there were some hairs beneath my fitted sheet on the smaller single bed. I overlooked it because the fitted sheet and the quilt/comforter seemed fine, but it could be nicer for more care to be taken. The towels were clearly older, but seemed clean and were perfectly usable.
The hotel provided a lot of amenities. The hair dryer is attached to the wall, and it works very well. It's not so hot that it burned my hair, but it wasn't too weak either. Snacks, instant mix drinks, and water were provided in the room. You also could get some other snacks and powder drink mix from the lobby. There are 2 laundry rooms on different floors that are con operated. There is also a "tea room" were you can get hot water for the upper floors if they don't want to go all the way to the lobby on the 3rd floor.
For housekeeping, you must tell the front desk in advance. We told the front desk we wanted housekeeping for the next day when we checked in. Personal trash and recycling can be disposed of on the first floor behind the curtain. You cannot flush toilet paper, so housekeeping is very helpful if you don't want to take care of it yourself.
The bathroom was large, with separate wet and dry areas. I liked that there were 2 sinks so more than one person can use the bathroom and do different things when getting ready. Shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were provided. We had a bottle that said lotion, but it was actually hand wash, so make sure to check before using.
The AC is off with its temperatures. Although it may say it's 26 degrees Celsius, it feels much colder. It's easier to just turn off the AC, the room still stays pretty cool. The mini refrigerator works well. We were provided 2 hotel room cards, but did not have to use one for the power, as they have a card for that, which was nice to have.
