Best value room in town, but book EARLY, bigger than other 3 star hotels in city similar price range! Good value food places and convenience stores within 50 meter radius. Safe well lighted area at night, easy walk to park for fresh air mornings and exercise. Easy transportation around city via MRT or bus but most unique- all day complimentary hot and cold drinks with snacks.
I usually stay in Humble House in Xinyi district. Humble House was full this time so I tried Hunble Boutique. This hotel is new and the room is much more spacious than Hunble House. Location is just next to subway so relatively convenient but since I still need to go to Xinyi so commute does takes sometime. Staff are very friendly.
5mins walk to train station, nearby convenience storeS. Very nice location! Room is spacious and soundproofing is very good. Reception can speak simple english and you might need to use translator app. There is 1 day without hot water due to maintenance and it was below 20c. Aside from that, I have no complaints and I will recommend this if you're on a budget but can still feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Although location is not in close proximity to the nearest station, the staff served very well to the guest with standard smiley greetings and hardworking housekeepers. Given the age and limited facilities of the hotel (ie. no gym and lounge), it is always the quality of the workers there who go for the extra miles for making their guests satisfied during stays. The best example was my case when I forgot to take away the phone charger from the room following check-out. The housekeeper did not own it for her own use, but instead she informed the front desk and handed it over to the duty manager. That manager eventually gave it back to me when I reclaimed my stored luggage upon returning. From my personal encounter, this hotel had fully earned my trust and loyalty for another revisit in the future due to its Integrity. Work ethics is utmost important in the service industry particularly for hospitality nowadays, but sadly it is lacking all over the world especially in the modern Western cultures with hundreds of staff thefts happening on a daily basis and those hotel managements did little in upkeeping such basic quality of services.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service at this hotel! From the front desk to housekeeping, every staff member was genuinely sincere and helpful.
Especially noteworthy were Emma and Zeny, who made my stay truly comfortable. And a big thank you to the housekeeping staff and the young tall girl with shoulder-length hair (I didn't catch her name), who consistently welcomed me at the door and escorted me to the lift during her night shifts. Your kindness and hospitality mean a lot!
I can tell that they're severely short-handed, juggling check-in guests and in-house guests, but despite the challenges, they maintained a professional and warm demeanor. Kudos to the team!

Always choose this place for Taipei. Close to metro, somewhat perfect réception. Shout out to Jacky who would remember my room number and make sure I am all comfy in my room.
First time ever got the usher phone call and I think that's a bit harsh for returning customers. It's not like we don't know or can't tell the time. Almost lost the keycard which is pain.
Located near to the MRT station (green line - Songjiang Nanjing), about 5-minute walking distance.
24-hour front desk, old traditional kind of hotel. Basic facilities.
It is hard to give comments on this one. I did not know that it was a converted guest room located on the ground floor. It seemed that the ventilation of the room was not good due to the closed windows, or the raining of the past days, so there were mold smell in the room.
After I complained to the hotel staff, they told me I have to pay the difference if I wanted to change to other rooms upstairs. That made me felt that I fell in a kind of scam: I was lured into this hotel with a bargain offer but later I had to pay more than the offer price to get a room that I expected to have. I did not continue the conversation as I was on my way out. It seemed that the hotel did some efforts on reduceing the mold smell after I went out, as the mold smell was not that strong when I was back late that night.
I don't know if I missed the information or the hotel or Trip.com did not highlight the room is a converted guest room. I would not definitely book this room if I knew that.
Very good, already visited twice. Although it is a time-honored restaurant, the service quality is excellent. You can enjoy free ice cream while waiting. The location is also very close to the MRT station, which is great.

AAnonymous UserExcellent location. About 2 mins walk to songjiang Nanjing station exit 4.
Hotel provided clear self check in instructions in both English and Chinese if your check in timing is late.
Coffee machine at the common area.
Hotel is located at level 6 of a building. Signage can be made clearer but that's a small issue. Look out for the hotel name signage when you reach the location based on the Google map.
Staff members are friendly and checks in with you.
The soundproofing of the room is not excellent but that did not affect my sleep.
Overall a pleasant stay!
GGuest UserSuper spacious room and great for last in your trip to do heavy lifting packing. Room is clean too, would recommend. Direct bus to Rao he night market with a couple of mins walk. 7-11 store which opens till late night (not sure if it is 24hour) but 2am no issue if you need supper!
GGuest UserI am surprised by the facilities in my room, although I did not have enough time to use (also because of the very cold weather).
The price is value for money.
MRT stations and Taipei Underground mall is within walking distance.
GGuest UserOverall, this hostel is very good. It’s cheap, clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the location is very convenient. The self-service check in and check out is also very convenient. The ventilation and drying system in the bathroom is great. The disadvantage is that the water pressure in the shower is too weak. The water temperature also fluctuates between hot and cold, resulting in the entire bathing time needing to be lengthened.
IIvyangAt this price, the C P value is acceptable
Because I have my own itinerary, there is no need for breakfast.
The transportation is convenient nearby and eating is very convenient.
