We stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied with the stay. The hotel is located just a few meters from a lovely beach where you have access to deckchairs and parasols. The hotel itself appeared in several places very worn and with a lack of maintenance, but the nice location with a cozy jungle atmosphere and the fantastic swimming pool is a big plus. The room was large with a terrace and there was both aircon, a fridge and an electric kettle. Wifi worked quite well. The breakfast was arranged as a buffet and was absolutely fantastic.
The staff always acted friendly and welcoming. Haadson resort is a hotel we would like to return to and therefore they also get our best recommendations.

Was booked as a birthday treat. If you like organised activities and timetables then it's for you.
On arrival they asked for passports, out to the car to get, then voucher, out to the car to get, then a copy of my credit card.
Really was not happy with that and thought it unnecessary as they had details from booking as the room was paid for,it made me very uncomfortable.
The main swimming pool was large but had only one place to get in so was a long walk.
We ate outside the hotel at one of the many less expensive restaurants. Our view from our room in block 13 overlooked a dilapidated roof of the Thai themed restaurant, didn't compel us to eat there. The room itself was comfortable and clean and we loved the dressing gown, it's our thing. WiFi around the resort was good. Sunset memorable.
A great place for families that like a package holiday. Not for us.

We stayed at the resort for two nights with the all inclusive package and had a blast. Everything about our stay was truly enjoyable. The check in was smooth and the staff really polite and service minded, We booked the standard room but the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger deluxe room as we had requested to be as close to the sea as possible. We were so happy with the upgrade. The room was spacious, clean, modern and had a large bathroom with a huge bathtub. The view was really nice and you could hear the waves from the beach in the morning and evenings. Perfect for me, my partner and our 2-year old. If we would return, we would book the deluxe room for sure.
The breakfast had everything you could wish for and more. On top of that, the surrounding in the breakfast restaurant felt calm and relaxing so we could really enjoy our breakfast.
We liked the gym. It was small but very nice and clean with everything you need. It was open 24/7 which we appreciate.
The all inclusive package was worth every penny. The food was delicious and we especially loved the little coffee shop by the reception area. The staff there were really polite and sweet.
During sunset we sat by the beachbar and enjoyed the stunning scenery with a glass of ice cold sparkling wine.
We saw a few restaurants and massage houses close to the resort but never made a visit since we had the all inc. package.

Very big hotel, right on the sea. If you stay in the building, it's a bit of a walk. The room is good, the bed is so soft it sucks your soul. The staff takes good care of you and is attentive. At first, I informed them that the pipe at the sink smelled bad, so the staff rushed to come and look at it immediately. When I took a shower, I realized that the smell was like hand soap because it smelled the same as the shampoo soap. I apologize to the staff. 😅 There are a lot of breakfast options to choose from and it's delicious. I'm very impressed with the hotel, except for the smell of the amenities for me. For toothbrushes, slippers, and shower caps, you can ask the staff via the app.

Rooms are nicely done up, clean and relaxing .
Staff are warm, welcoming, super helpful and friendly . Especially Nu who took great care of us . Great breakfast selection and super yummy.
Great setup at kids room which also catered to older kids with Pingpong table , ball machine, arcade games and other selection.
Staff at beach station were super helpful, all ready to help , SUP , boogie boards and kayaks available for use without charge. You really don’t have to go anywhere , just relax at the beautiful Sandy beach. Kids also played volleyball almost every evening with other guests .

A huge hotel, not typical for Thailand. Different buildings, it seemed that the distant ones were newer. We lived there for the second part of our vacation in a room with access to the pool and Jacuzzi (in the pool itself). In the bedroom it is not clear why it is needed near the window. It’s a two-room apartment (living room and bedroom), there is an entrance to the bathroom from both directions, but for some reason it doesn’t close, which is not convenient for a family. Breakfast is very good. The beach has an excellent promenade with cafes.

There are no beds to sleep on at the beach. But I saw the guests go to bed by themselves. Carrying a beach bed from the swimming pool myself, confused.
There are a lot of swimming pools, the school is very big, the holiday zone is beautiful.
Breakfast is good. enough seats Overall the room is beautiful and spacious.
Some areas of the holiday zone swimming pool have dirty debris floating around. The water has a rust smell.
In the room, there were also marks of termites eating the wood near the refrigerator cabinet. Didn't wipe it off. The drain in the bathtub is clogged. The water must not be drained. Call a technician to repair. Wasting a lot of time resting
The balcony light won't turn on. Have to have another technician come to repair it. When repairing pieces of the ceiling fell down. I don't clean it. All in chaos, confused.
Sofa bed in the part that can be pulled out There were two nails sticking out of the sharp side. My leg is bleeding. It's very dangerous. The wound has still been there for 5 days. If it's more severe than this, It's definitely very dangerous. Just report 0 to them. Please notify along with the bathtub repair process.
I think next time I will change to sleep somewhere else.

Kuapa Resort is a great option. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is cool and makes sleeping well even on hot nights. The hot water heater makes taking a shower a relaxing experience. The good Wi-Fi makes connecting to the internet easy and smooth.
The location of the resort is convenient, just a short distance from the main road, making it easy to travel to the main attractions. The rooms are beautiful and stylish, with a touch of luxury and the decoration creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. And most importantly, the price is cheap.

AAlexhoThis resort was excellent! I travelled here my girlfriend for the weekend and it exceeded all of expectations. The location is perfect right next to the beach, and the hospitality of the staff were unparralled. The breakfast was delicious with many options, and my room was very spacious, comfortable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone and I would love to come back again if we visit Khao Lak again.

JJeanette VictorLa Flora was the 11th Hotel I stayed at since I left Taiwan on the 23rd July, 2023. And, I absolutely loved it! Our family enjoyed a lovely dinner while the sun was setting. It was wonderful to sit at the beach and have breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the pools a lot. La Flora is great for families. GGuest UserThe environment is amazing, the double pool villa is absolutely beautiful! It's enough to just stay in the hotel. It takes an hour and a half from Phuket Airport to the hotel, 1,300 baht. Similan Island is not open, so there are not many people in the whole Khao Lak, including the hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a really nice stay at the hotel. The owner takes allot of pride in what she owns. All areas have been professionally built, there is a very small pool, but it was a perfect size for my 4yr old to practice his swimming without armbands. The breakfast was delicious. A random main was usually made consisting of eggs which I enjoyed. However my partner is vegan but still she loved the options of cereals, drinks, toast and fruit provided.
The location was close enough to walk to some locals shops but scooter rental was available.
We booked a similan trip through the host, which was a very competitive rate. Also on a evening there is a very close bar (around 5mins walk) called happy snapper. Live music, food, drinks, nice surroundings and good for children to play.

WWin BkkExcellent location in Bang Niang, the centre of Khao Lak. The check in was smooth. The communal area and kitchen were large and very functional.
The dorm were clean. Bed was comfy. A/C and wifi worked well in room.
Overall, I highly recommend Dkaya.

The hotel is perfectly and conveniently located, a short walk to the streets where good restaurants and shops are located. It was a lovely leisure stay. Perhaps the resort could work on bettering customer service, as we were rarely greeted or acknowledged (although my husband and I did) whenever we entered or exited the restaurants (Malila, Cocos) for the whole 7 days. We had to physically approach them in order to get service like ordering food or drinks.

From the front of the hotel to the room
Location: Easy to get to because the hotel is right on Petchkasem Road 4. It's not hard to find. There is parking space next to the hotel for about 4-5 cars and you can park on the side of the road in front of the hotel.
Convenience: Everything is complete. There is a buffet breakfast and you can order whatever is on the menu, including rice soup, fried noodles, and eggs for every menu. There are also conveniences both in and outside the room. I secretly wish there were slippers so I could walk outside in case I went to the beach.
Impression: What I liked the most was the bed. It was very comfortable. I wanted to take the bed home. When we checked in, we got 1 key card, but the hotel put another one in the room and turned on the air conditioner, waiting for us to check in. When we came in hot, the room was cool and refreshing.

Pros: The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained area with a beautiful landscape design. It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe.
Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries.
Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht.
The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht).

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for 14 nights, the hotel fully met our expectations. Normer booked a deluxe with an ocean view, in her wishes she asked not for the first floor, the hotel took my request into account, they gave us a room on the second floor. The room itself is spacious, has everything you need - a hair dryer, a safe, hangers, wardrobes with built-in lighting, a TV (we connected a laptop via HDMI and watched movies), a small balcony, on the balcony there are very comfortable adirondacks and a dryer. We chose the hotel for its price/quality ratio, location and two large swimming pools. The hotel grounds are very large, green, it feels like you are walking in a garden, monitor lizards roam, fish swim, you can feed them. There are two large pools and a slide. The beach is quite good, the lighthouse smooths out the waves a little. There are enough sun loungers, if suddenly there are not enough, the staff puts out more sun loungers, there are swings on the beach. The water is muddy, opaque because the waves lift the sand, a couple of times when there were waves it brought garbage from the sea, but this does not apply to the hotel. In the reviews they write that the hotel is tired, I would say that it has a slightly outdated design, yes, it is, but for us it is not a hindrance. In general, everything is painted, clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Towels are changed every day, they give out 2 sets of beach towels so that you always have one clean set. Cleaning is generally normal, as everywhere in Thailand, we are not demanding in this regard. Change of bed linen on request, do not put a sign on the bed, they will change the linen. The usual hair dryer is quite weak, if you want to curl your hair, take your own. A separate plus of the hotel is its location, you can walk along the territory and get out at the poppy - in the center of old Khao Lak. There is a large parking lot for hotel guests. Breakfasts are the same every day, but you can diversify your menu with a lot of different food: sausages, bacon, vegetables, rice, noodles, beans, croutons, pancakes, eggs will be cooked in front of you at your request - scrambled eggs, omelette (with or without filling) or they will bring poached or boiled eggs to the table. Fruits: pineapples, papaya, pitaya, watermelon, melon, coffee from the machine is quite good for a hotel, there are toasters, jams, chocolate paste, in general, quite standard. Next to the hotel there is an O cafe - we went several times, good cuisine and reasonable prices, Thai cuisine, there are European dishes, sandwiches and burgers. We used the laundry services in this cafe 60 baht / kg they return clean and fragrant things the next day. There is a massage nearby and on the beach they also do it like everywhere else, in general it's normal.
