Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Mid-size ground so I could watch my kids going between the pool and beach. Room is basic without a bath tub but spacious even with extra bed, well maintained and clean. Ground floor we stayed was very convenient and balcony space is generous.

Our first time to Avani+. We were surprised by the location and amenities of the hotel. The location is by the main road. It is convenient for guests to cross the road to the supermarket to get snacks or drinks. Amenities wise are excellent for kids and adults. There are plenty of activities for guests to do, such as rock climbing, arcade, basketball, and skateboard . However, I just feel the pools available are too small. It is low season in khao lak and I already feel it is too crowded. Cleanliness in the room could be improved. The housekeeping only sweeps the floor and does not use a vacuum. After cleaning our rooms, I saw hair in the toilet. Overall, I would recommend Avani+ to family traveling with children.

The hotel is excellent, gorgeous territory, large swimming pool, private beach, excellent breakfasts. Very friendly staff, clean well, wash floors every day and change towels and linen. The rooms are a little tired, but everything works. Large balcony with a table, bench and clothes dryer. We used the spa services, the prices are of course higher than in the salons on the street, but the massage is in a separate room, everything is clean and the quality of the massage is very high. The hotel has bowling, billiards, a gym. The territory is like a large garden - birds sing in the morning. The only minus is the lack of disposable slippers, but the floors are clean and we walked barefoot.

DISAPPOINTED EXPERIENCE AT THAI BAKING COMPANY New hotel, clean and comfortable. Great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and polite. Overall, I was very impressed, except for one of the female staff at the dessert shop. **** A FEMALE STAFF AT “ THAI BAKING COMPANY ” MAKE ME DISAPPOINTED . ( APRIL 23rd ,2025 at about 3 P.M. ) ******* SHE NOT EVEN GREETING OR SUGGEST US . The female staff saw us and ignored us, not even welcoming us or offering any advice on the menu. When we entered the restaurant, she ignored us. We had to try to ask her how to order and the price ourselves. I asked about the Thai dessert menu and how to order or pick up the desserts. She pointed to the place but I didn't know how to pick them up, where to find the plates or utensils, and I had to ask and ask for the utensils to pick up the desserts myself. when we got our dessert, my parents waited for a long time without her even bringing them a fork or plate to use. I tried to ask for a spoon and fork to use for eating the dessert, but she was greeted with an expression that made me feel uncomfortable. My parents felt bad, even my father said that she was acting disrespectful and disinterested because we are Thai. There were many good things that happened at this hotel, but the facial expression and the way that the female staff treated us made us unable to forget that bad situation. Please warn that female staff not to make such gestures and facial expressions with anyone else. บรรยากาศและพนักงานส่วนใหญ่ของโรงแรมนั้นดีเยี่ยม ยกเว้นการบริการและการปฎิบัติของพนักงานหญิงที่ THAI BAKING COMPANY เมื่อวันที่ 23 เมษายน 2025 (เวลาประมาณบ่าย 3 ) เมื่อเราเข้าไปในร้าน พนักงานหญิงคนนั้นเห็นว่าเราเดินเข้าไปและแม้ไม่ได้แสดงท่าทีต้อนรับ ไม่มีคำทักทาย (ไม่พูดด้วยเลย) บรรยากาศในร้านช่างน่าอึดอัดและไม่มีบรรยากาศของการต้อนรับซึ่งแตกต่างจากทุกที่ในโรงแรม ฉันต้องการจะพาพ่อและแม่ของฉันเข้าไปชิมขนมไทย แต่เมื่อฉันเดินเข้าไปก็พบว่าไม่มีใครสนใจหรือแนะนำอะไรเลย ฉันต้องถามพนักงานว่าจะต้องสั่งอาหารอย่างไรหรือมีเมนูขนมไทยใช่หรือไม่ เธอเพียงแค่บอกว่าขนมอยู่ตรงนั้นและชี้นิ้วไปที่ขนม ฉันยืนงงและอึดอัด และต้องหันไปถามพนักงานคนนั้นอีกครั้งว่าแล้วเราจะต้องหยิบขนมอย่างไร ( เราไม่มีอุปกรณ์ที่จะใช้หยิบหรือไม่มีจานให้หยิบวางด้วยซ้ำ ) เธอจึงหยิบจานและอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการหยิบให้เรา พร้อมทั้งบอกราคาด้วยสีหน้าไม่ใส่ใจ เมื่อได้ขนมมาแล้วฉันมีธุระที่ต้องออกไปข้างนอกร้าน ฉันให้พ่อกับแม่นั่งรออยู่ในร้าน เมื่อกลับเข้ามาในร้านอีกครั้งฉันพบว่าพ่อและแม่ของฉันนั้นนั่งอยู่พร้อมกับจานขนมที่เราหยิบกันมาโดยที่ไม่มีพนักงานแนะนำท่านทั้งสอง ไม่มีแม้แต่จานและช้อนที่ใช้เพื่อรับรับประทานอาหาร พนักงานไม่สนใจพ่อและแม่ของฉันอย่างสิ้นเชิง เรามากัน 3 คนพ่อแม่ลูก ตอนที่นำน้ำเปล่ามาให้ พนักงานก็เอาน้ำเปล่ามาให้ในทีแรก เขาก็เอามาแค่ 2 แก้ว ทั้งที่เรามากัน 3 คน พ่อของฉันเป็นผู้ชายที่ไม่จุกจิกก็ยังรู้สึกได้ถึงบรรยากาศที่น่าอึดอัดและบอกกับฉันว่าพนักงานไม่มีท่าทางที่เป็นมิตรเลย พนักงานแสดงท่าทางดูถูกเพียงเพราะว่าเราเป็นคนไทยงั้นเหรอ ? การมาพักที่โรงแรมในครั้งนี้มีเรื่องดีๆเกิดขึ้นมากมากมายทั้งบรรยากาศ พนักงานผู้คน บรรยากาศ ธรรมชาติต่างๆ แต่สิ่งที่ทำให้เราจดจำมากที่สุดกับกายเป็นพนักงานหญิงที่มีท่าทางไม่ยินดีต้อนรับคนนั้น อยากให้ทีมบุคคลหรือผู้ที่ทำหน้าที่ดูแลพนักงานช่วยอบรมหรือแจ้งพนักงานหญิงคนนั้นให้ปรับพฤติกรรม และอย่าแสดงสีหน้าหรือท่าทางแบบนั้นกับแขกคนไหนอีกไม่ว่าเขาจะเป็นผู้เข้าพักชนชาติไหนก็ตาม ทุกคนมีสิทธิ์ได้รับการปฏิบัติอย่างเท่าเทียม P.S. ขอชื่นชมพนักงานขับรถบัคกี้ชื่อ “ คุณโดม ” ให้คำแนะนำอย่างดีเยี่ยมและเป็นมิตร เสนอการช่วยเหลือที่มีประโยชน์ ; ยกกระเป๋า ปิดประตู แนำนำร้านอาหาร ช่วยถ่ายรูปครอบครัว

Even though it’s been a day since I returned, I’m still feeling the post-vacation blues. The service here was exceptional, truly embodying real hospitality. 🎀 Whenever staff were around, they would make eye contact, offer genuine smiles, and patiently wait to assist. I love that personal touch. •Spa also great! the therapist is an expert 😌 •Breakfast is the best too☀️ Thank you so much to all staffs for the hardworking. 💪💕 I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! 💗✨🥹

Very good service, attentive to customers, spacious rooms, full facilities, but secretly shocked by the bat on the roof of the balcony of the room. Makes me not dare to go out and sit on the balcony, but with the nature of Thailand, I understand that we live together

Kuapa Resort is a great option. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is cool and makes sleeping well even on hot nights. The hot water heater makes taking a shower a relaxing experience. The good Wi-Fi makes connecting to the internet easy and smooth. The location of the resort is convenient, just a short distance from the main road, making it easy to travel to the main attractions. The rooms are beautiful and stylish, with a touch of luxury and the decoration creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. And most importantly, the price is cheap.

I like everything. This is my second time going back. I have a small complaint about the walk from the room to breakfast, which is a bit far. But overall, it's very good. I recommend it. All the staff are lovely.

During our stay, we noticed a few service issues that we’d like to share for your improvement. For example, the receptionist is usually the first impression of any hotel. As Thai guests, we naturally expect polite and respectful communication, especially the consistent use of “krab” when speaking. However, the receptionist only said “krab” once, at the very end of the conversation. It felt unusual, and we weren’t even sure if he was Thai. This small detail made the interaction feel less warm and professional than expected. Another issue we experienced was with the à la carte dining. We placed our order and waited for 40 minutes without any update or communication from the staff. When we finally asked about the delay, we were told we’d have to wait another 30 minutes. Only after that did the staff consult with the manager and offer us some food from the buffet, but at that point, it was already quite late and there weren’t many other dining options nearby. Ms. Bowy, the Restaurant Manager, kindly offered us a cocktail or some drinks, but what we really needed was food. She later offered a 20% discount for that meal, which we appreciated, but the whole experience was disappointing. Lastly, during breakfast, we understand it was a long weekend and the hotel was likely busy. However, since occupancy can be anticipated, we believe better preparation could have been made—both in terms of staffing and seating arrangements. When we mentioned the crowd and the wait for a table, the staff simply said, “You should come earlier for breakfast,” which didn’t feel like a very helpful response. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and setting of the property, but we hope these comments help in improving the overall service experience for future guests.
