The location is very good. Near the drum tower and the bus stop is just 2-3 minutes away. The room is very comfortable and even have toys for small kids. The owner is very helpful and nice to help with the check in and check out.
In order to find the hotel, you might want to ask for the entrace photo from the owner as the room is on the 3 floor on one of the building behind the main street. If you have big luggage, you might struggle a bit as they do not have elevators. If you travel light and want to find the good location accommodation with a good value for money, this is the place.

It was a great pleasure and joy to stay at this welcoming and smiling host. The room was cosy, ideal for a solo traveler like me, but would be great for couples too. The location is perfect for exploring Tianjin's old town. It's actually located within it, so it's a zero minute walk to its craft shops, snack eateries, and museums. The Drum Tower, literally a few steps away, serves as the landmark to find your way home.

Strongly recommend, the location is so convenient, JoyCity mall and the subway station are nearby, cosy place to spend a beautiful time, and the lady is such a nice person.

Amazing room. Super clean and new. A surprise in China.
The owner was also very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way washes my clothes and helped me get documents printed.
Be aware, there is a 100 Rmb deposit. It's returned immediately after checking out. That's good. This is common in Thailand, but I've never been asked for a room deposit in China before.
And, bath mats are needed in the room

The room is clean, comfortable, near drum tower and other sight seeing places. My room is on the third floor, it's a little bit difficult to find, because the stair is behind the front buiding, but you can ask people live near here, they will show you the way. The staff can't speak English, but she is very nice. We used google translate and everything went well.
