Very spacious room with a bathtub and river view. Very central by the river. Reachable by bus and a 10min walk but longer if taking the metro (because the hotel is close to the tourist center). Taking an evening stroll by the river to the Tianjin Eye is amazing. Unfortunately reception forgot to tell us there was a deposit so I was a bit confused why the initial charge was higher than what trip.com said but this was quickly clarified later and after your stay you get reimbursed quickly. Very big luxurious hotel.

The River view rooms with the round bath tub are truly fantastic, we stay here purely for these rooms, the windows can open so if its that special time of year when the Aircon never gets turned on around Tianjin then atleast its possible to cool and breathe. But there is 1 complaint.. the amount used to reserve the rooms is 1 time with Trip at the value of the room , then again at the hotel and again for the room ... so your budget needs to be 3 times the room rate per night which is incredibly annoying ... the mini bar has about 300 CNY worth of drinks so why do you need to take 1000 in security? Trip why do you need to take more than 1000 at all?

a famous brand with certain confidence in the quality. not bad to ride share-bike to the hotel from public transport stops.
booked the package with seafood buffet hotpot dinner, which was good as expected with unlimited hairy crabs, beer & wine provided.
the night view of my room of the river was excellent.

had a good stay, although we realised that it’s quite far (not walkable distance) to the more happening areas of the town, but close to those tourist attractions, we would prefer closer to local spot hotels as we prefer experiencing their food, activities and culture
