Hotels Near Livada Beach in Tinos

The hotel is blessed with the most amazing natural setting high in the hills with a beautiful vista down to the Aegean – you’d be hard pressed to find a better view in Tinos! The hotel itself has been beautifully designed to match its natural surroundings; the room was spacious and clean. However, the service did not match the 5* location and given the hotel’s price point I think they need to do a lot better on this front if they want to succeed in making the hotel a luxury option in Tinos. A couple of observations: - A complimentary bottle of water was provided on arrival in your room – this was never replenished during our 5 night stay. - Service around the pool area was practically non-existent (you had to go looking for waiting staff if you wanted a drink). - The lamps which created the mood lighting next to our table were removed mid-dinner service and taken upstairs for a private function. - We struggled to arrange car hire and when I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival they just provided me with the telephone number of their preferred supplier. Again, given the price point of the hotel and fact its targeting the luxury market, you’d expect them to be of more assistance in arranging this. - One evening we ordered drinks after returning from dinner to enjoy on our balcony. We had to stand in middle of restaurant to wait for them – if there is no lounge / bar area then they should be better equipped to provide room service. Operationally, the hotel was operated as a restaurant and not as a hotel. The hotel has huge potential but they do need to address these operational issues if they wish to succeed in the luxury market.

We arrived at the Nimbus Mykonos Hotel with five friends to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and were welcomed warmly and with great respect. Initially, one of our rooms was a bit remote and lacked a view, but the attentive staff quickly made up for it by offering us daily transfers to their luxurious sister hotel, MYAKTIS, part of the same fantastic Nimbus chain. The pool, with its sunbeds overlooking the breathtaking blue sea, was a highlight, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms we stayed in were spacious, featuring a bathtub and a jacuzzi on the balcony. Although we encountered a minor issue with the water temperature in the jacuzzi, the room itself was beautiful, with stunning views of the sea and the hotel’s impressive pool. We also appreciated how close our rooms were, allowing us to enjoy time together on the balconies. On behalf of myself and my friends, I want to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel staff and the kind waiters at breakfast and the pool bar. The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the beach, that beach is also very convenient, surrounded by restaurants. The hotel's mattress is too bad, and then I don't know what noise, from the night to the second day, what machine has been buzzing. I didn't ask because the language was not available. The key is placed in the country and can communicate. I must ask what noise has been noisy. Overall, it's okay! Anyway, these two shortcomings are intolerable.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Cubic hotel for our honeymoon. As this was a brand new hotel we were a bit nervous about booking but it did not disappoint. The hotel is situated on Ornos beach with a view across the bay from most rooms. We stayed in the Suite which was right at the top and we were kindly upgraded as it was our honeymoon. The staff also left a beautiful bunch of flowers and sparkling wine which was a lovely gesture. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, especially the team at reception, and would do anything to make you comfortable during your stay. The rooms are contemporary and look exactly like the images. They have luxury, soft fluffy bath towels, light dressing gowns and flip flops to use during your stay. The toiletries provided smelled beautiful so if you are visiting there is no need to pack shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Some days we would even have a little treat in our room after our day at the beach (fresh fruits or greek sweet treats). Breakfast could either be delivered to your room (which we did for the week) or you can have it on the terrace just at reception. There were loads to choose from and a nice selection of pastries and a delicious lemon cake. You can get the local bus to Mykonos town and the bus stop is just a short 5 minute walk away with tickets are only €1.80pp. Overall we had the best stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, adults only retreat in Mykonos.
