Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda - Tokyo Reviews

Location is very convenient - only less than 5 mins walking distance. There is also a decent size pharmacy store 松本青 and Uniqulo so one can purchase what they want and bring them back to the hotel room first before they embark their shopping trips in Harujuku or Shinjuku or Shibuya. There is also a big supermarket which you can’t miss

We read a lot of good reviews about Mitsui Garden Gotanda and decided to go with it. It is located close to the JR Gotanda station and it is within 5 to 10 minutes walk. It is also very accessible to touristy spots such as Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. The hotel reception has a very nice view and free coffee! There are many nice restaurants around! There is a Lawson right at the hotel and it was extremely convenient for us to get our supper. Room was on the small side but good enough for two person with two medium luggages. The cleanliness was no doubt of Japanese standard. There are free toiletries for each guest at the reception area. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Mitsui Garden Gotanda.

Enjoyed the outdoor onsen, the quaint location - slightly out of the way yet peaceful neighbourhood. Nearby to shinjuku, ebisu stations - plenty of convenience in my opinion.

There is a supermarket “Tokyu store” right outside the station which is super convenient for travelers to grab something before go back to the hotel.

We checked-in at around 22:40 due to the CX flight delayed. We got the room quickly and went out for dinner. Soon we back to hotel and release everything from the luggages boxes. My wife found there was odd smell/stench in the toilet/bathroom. We phoned the reception about the matter and a gentleman came to our room to have a inspection. He offered us to change room but my wife not willing to move as all stuff have been released. So, he gave us a air disinfectant to minimize the smell. We had experience in this chain hotel in different places. But it is the first time to surprised us by this bad smell. Except this matter, Daiwa Roynet Hotel is still on our selected list.

The hotel is in a great location and has easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and shopping malls. Only a 5-min walk to subway, easy to get around to all the major tourist attractions in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

Facilities: 9/10 The hotel features a spacious communal bath on the rooftop, offering both indoor and outdoor areas for guests to relax. Room Size: 7.5/10 Typical of Tokyo accommodations, the room size is modest. Room is small, but is clean. Booked for biz trip and there is iron equipment in room. Is near Haneda airport. Pay at hotel but there is a pre authorised full amount during booking and will only refund 10-15days after check out, abit too long.

Excellent hotel located along Yamanote line, very convenient. Hotel only has spa by lots of amenities nearby

The hotel was conveniently located near Gotanda Station. It was easy to move around Tokyo as the city looped trains were just minutes away. Its rooms were tidy and at the average Tokyo hotel size but still comfortable. Its plus point was a clean and spacious hot spring bath inclusive of outdoor one. Its breakfast was optional and provided on G floor at its outsource Italian restaurant (Tanta Tanta The Garden). They were beyond expectations.

Had a wonderful stay at Mitsui Garden Gotanda! For me, it was near enough the usual spots that people visit though not directly in them. The room was very clean and they had almost everything to make your stay enjoyable from the deodorizer for clothes to the nice public bath. They helped me with my luggage delivery too as I messed up the form badly.

Great hotel! The location is 10/10, near train station, lots of restaurants nearby, drug store and supermarket around corner, and convenient store right downstairs. Room is clean, a bit old but well maintained. The public bath is clean, perfect way to relief the body after a day of walking. Overall, I really enjoyed my 4 day stay, and look forward to return!
