The rooms are nice, not the biggest but clean. Service from the staff is amazing. Location is perfectly near all the restaurants and bars. Love the history of the building and how original they have kept it.

I didn’t expect this hotel would be so nice! I got an upgrade to a historical room with high ceilings, wonderful wall decorations and an ancient wooden door- piece of art! The breakfast is lousy but who cares at this interior

Great hotel and incredible palace, but the bed for two was very small.

Good location - room with no view and opposite elevators - below my expectations and experience as an HH - desk was not able to accommodate for other room. Needed to ask for cleaning - somebody forgot pills in our room…

The hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the city center and the grand canal. The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is quite welcoming and helpful. Breakfast variety was not the best, and it would have been nice to have an indoor pool in the hotel, given that we visited in December, so it would have been hard to visit the beach (there are no public beaches in the main Trieste city anyway, we’d have to go to Barcola for that).

1) Front desk stuff was not helpful at all!!! 2) Access to the hotel’s lobby is only by stairs and all stuff was trying to pretend there were busy not to help at all. Luckily, we had only small suitcases, so that was not a problem for us, but still for this level of hotel I would expect welcome service in front of the hotel and not at the front desk. 3) I would not recommend “Historical One Bedroom King Suite” - it looks like the room had been plundered long time ago. There were literally no decorations whatsoever, be it old or new

Palace is classic early 1900 architecture and luxury feeling, historic art and beauty accompanied us to the breakfast hall, while room was contemporary and convenient, services recently renewed, the hotel is located in the historic centre of the elegant Port City, car valet service very useful, in 10/15 minutes walking you can reach museums and best cafe’ restaurants

Receptionist M is very helpful and sincere. She tried to help me find some email addresses for my personal use. Much much appreciated.

We went for my partners birthday night away. By far the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in around the world. Almost more of a museum than a hotel! Historic King Room was lovely. Reception staff and spa staff were super, breakfast staff could have paid more attention to us, we felt rather ignored.
