Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel, Sacred Valley
"It is hard to imagine there is a more beautiful property in the Sacred Valley. If you are going to Machu Pichu, don't have a tight budget, the Rio Segrado+Hriam Bingham train ride is THE best combo you can make during your visit. 22 rooms of paradise. Add the Dany and Sabrina smiles in dining and the front desk "how can I help" Julio and you get a sense of the staff. VERY accommodating. Clean, spacious, over the top in appointment this Belmond property will make me shop the brand during future travels. Impressive. Food is only outdone by the grounds on where you eat. Just beautiful and plenty of space to relax and chill. Just gorgeous. Beat the "high altitude" issue of Cusco by making your first nights to this region in the Sacred Valley and ONLY at the Rio Segrado. Muy Bien!"
Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Valle Sagrado
"Very satisfied! highly recommended."
Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas
"It's far from the five-star standard. The environment is very good, the breakfast is too perfunctory, it's not very convenient to get in and out of the hotel (a bit far from Ou Yantai), and it's not very convenient to take a taxi"
Sonesta Posadas del Inca - Valle Sagrado Yucay Urubamba
"Nice hotel with everything being perfect"
Tierra Viva Valle Sagrado Hotel
"Loved our stay! Our students really enjoyed all of the open spaces and the people were very kind."
Sueños del Valle Sagrado
Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness
"The hotel is amazing!!! It’s little far away from the city, but is worth it! We really enjoyed! And we really recommend it."
Miski Samay Domo Boutique
"Our stay at David's dome retreat was absolutely unforgettable! The views were incredible, and the decor inside the domes was beautiful—everything was clean, new, and thoughtfully designed. Each dome comes with everything you need, including a private shower and bathroom, making it comfortable and cozy. David, our host, was amazing! Not only was he incredibly friendly and welcoming, but he's also a knowledgeable tour guide with fascinating insights about the Inca culture. He gave us great recommendations for local activities and even filled the hot tub for us right after breakfast, which was served in a charming lobby building next to the domes. The location is a little off the beaten track, but David made everything easy by picking us up right from the train station. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with stunning views and excellent hospitality, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!"
Las Qolqas Eco Resort
"The lodge is clean with friendly staff. Water pressure is a little weak but overall it's a nice and comfortable stay."

Wifala Harmony Hotel
"Our time at Wifala was a true highlight during our trip to Peru. This hotel was not simply lodging; it was a full experience. Bruno, our host, was gracious and kind. The food was fantastic, the hospitality warm, and the gardens lush. Wifala was an oasis of calm and tranquility. The other guests were very friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel."
Rustica Hoteles Cusco Urubamba
Hotel Hacienda del Valle Sagrado
"A friend and I booked the Life Hotel Villa Sagrado (also branded as a Wellness Centre) for a three night stay in September 2023. We were drawn to Life by the facilities, website and positive reviews. Sadly, we were not as impressed by Life as others who have reviewed, and whilst I am not generally one to leave critical remarks, I felt it is important to convey our experiences whilst staying at Life. The interior of the hotel is lovely. However, it was clear that we were one of the only (if not the only) customers and as a result, the hotel looked unused, unutilized, with facilities unopened, and the hotel was in a state of uncleanliness in certain areas. The pool was dirty and full of bugs (see pic) and therefore, we didn’t swim. The sauna and steam room were closed. We were advised we could use them for a fee (we chose not too as the hotel was expensive enough). We were also surprised to see no complementary water or coffee (they were available, for a fee). The restaurant was open (if we requested it), and there was also a rooftop restaurant which whilst closed, did exude loud music during the day! I was also very concerned to see photocopies of our passports left on unattended reception areas which poses a major data security breach. Sadly, we were expecting a higher standard. What stops me from giving one star is some positives. As noted, the decor is lovely, and rooms were big and spacious with lovely bathrooms. The two staff members covering (and to my eye running) the hotel were lovely and helpful. They seemed understanding when we expressed our dissatisfaction and plans to leave early (we couldn’t stay three nights because of our experience there), and rightfully charged us for only two. Our lasting impression was that this was an establishment in a state of transition to a Wellness centre, whilst trying to remain open as ‘Life Hotel’. Sadly, this led to a disappointing chapter in an otherwise great Peruvian trip."
Valley Walker Home
Chaska Valle Green
"Rating: ★★★★★ Spontaneous Stay Turned into Home We originally planned a 14-night stay here on a whim, drawn in by the beauty of the Urubamba Valley and the hotel's **stunning garden**. It turned out to be the best decision of our trip. **Highlights:** The Team: The owner, Marcel, and the caretaker, Nora, are wonderful people. Marcel speaks great English and is incredibly helpful. Plus, their dog Tatang is a total sweetheart! Digital Nomad Paradise: The entire hotel feels like a giant, comfortable workspace. It’s perfect if you need to get things done while enjoying nature. Location & Comfort: It’s centrally located but feels like living in a private "garden home." It has everything you could possibly need. We truly felt like we were leaving family behind when we checked out. We will definitely be back!"
Lizzy Wasi Urubamba
"Outstanding service Facilities and rooms were fantastic The view, gardens, flowers decorations make this place a unique one."
Hotel Agustos Urubamba
"This Hotel on the outskirts of Urubamba has beautiful grounds and landscape. The rooms are outdated and the mattress is very hard like a board. Rooms don't have a/c units but they do have a small refrigerator and portable heater. The other negative is that are kind of obligated to eat at there restaurants because there is absolutely nothing near by. Prices in restaurants are pricey. Make sure to buy water bottles before arriving to hotel because the overpriced the water bottles also "
Sacred Dreams Lodge
"I had the most memorable time of my life at sacred dreams lodge! The facility is absolutely beautiful and so clean. Jose was very responsive and gave us some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. He went out of his way to check we had everything we needed and called us moto’s into town so quickly and proficiently. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip in Peru!"
Casa Andina Standard Machu Picchu
"Nice breakfast. But the front desk charges extra us $8 for service fees."
Usgar Machupicchu Boutique
"Very close to Machu Picchu train station and good location The room was very clean... The room view was very good No inconveniences during the 2-night stay. The front desk was friendly in responding to requests I was a little worried since it is right next to the train station, but it was quiet..."
Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba
"Great setting with very large casita rooms and grand interiors especially in the public areas. Views can be great across the valley to the mountains but not if blocked by trees so ask for a view! The hotel was very quiet with only a couple of rooms occupied so lacked some atmosphere but to be expected. Couple of gripes - we didn’t find a safe in the room and there was definitely no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Pleasant stay though and we were grateful for the staffs assistance when taken ill."
