Our stay at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel was excellent. The hotel is new, well maintained, and is an ideal place to enjoy a comfortable rest before visiting Machu Picchu. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. A staff member was waiting for us at the train station and assisted with our luggage both to the hotel and back to the station upon departure. Our room was comfortable, and the bed provided a much-needed good night’s sleep. The hotel is also conveniently located within a short walk of the bus departure point for Machu Picchu. Everything was clearly explained during check-in, while the check-out process was equally smooth and well organised. Overall, Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing stay before visiting Machu Picchu.

Excellent location in Ollanataytembo. About a 5 minute walk from the main plaza and 15 minutes from the train station. The route to the hotel is along a narrow, stone, bumpy path so taxis or colectivos will drop you at the main plaza and you will have to walk the rest of the way. Check in and out was straightforward and the hosts were lovely people. Breakfast was basic but the orange juice and fruit were fresh and tasty! Room itself was very warm with a veranda looking towards the mountains. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower was good after a long day of hiking. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

The service staff is very good and kind. There are staff at the counter for four hours to help solve the problem. The location is very good. The train will arrive at the hotel. I think  The train passes by with only a little vibration and no sound.

Besides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service. The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out). They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.

The hotel is a few minutes walking distance from the Machu Picchu train station and right on the side of the rails. The best thing is that it is also only 2-minutes away from the bus stop that takes visitors to the entrance of Machu Picchu so it is ideal for any early morning excursions. During the day and up until around 9pm there will be trains passing by every once in a while and can get loud, but otherwise there is not too much source of noise. Since Aguas Calientes is a tiny town, most of the restaurants, marketplaces, and cafes are within a 10 to 15-minute walking distance. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a great balcony view of the surrounding mountains. Receptionist Mary was extremely helpful through WhatsApp communications, even coming to the train station to pick up guests, and gave a lot of information about visiting Machu Picchu. Breakfast allowed for an early start to accommodate those having early morning entrance tickets, and it was a decent buffet of varied food and made-to-order eggs. They were also very generous to allow guests to stay and rest in the reception area after check-out time and keep bags in storage before taking a late afternoon train. All in all a great choice if you are planning to visit Machu Picchu

Thank you for choosing a hotel. This hotel will surely surprise you! The location is excellent, three to five minutes walk from the train station and bus station. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and canteens. As soon as you enter the hotel room, you will smell a warm fragrance, which is very hygienic, convenient, and comfortable. The service is superb. Peruvians are kind, simple, and helpful. Those who gave such bad reviews are very curious to me. In fact, you should also pay attention to being kind and open-minded when you are away. When you are at peace, you will feel comfortable with everyone. Definitely recommend this hotel!

honestly such a dilemma to review! It's near the train to Machu so that's awesome! Also they helped us pack a super nice breakfast with water and we are so thankful! However the room was infested with insects and I got a shock of my life!! Like a lot of flying insects and we couldn't do anything about it. The people are nice too and price so reasonable! So it's really dilemma to review !

We had a nice short stay in NaturaLodge and will remembering this place by its enormous and comfortable bed! It compensated the music that was on 24/7 at some neighbor-hotel. Sometimes it was hard to find somebody who could help us at the desk, or there was only a kid behind the desk. But overall our stay was good and a nice location, close to the busses leaving to Machu Picchu.

在馬丘比丘這個地方，能有乾淨的，早餐熱乎的已經不容易了，不然住隔壁歌瑪或者貝爾蒙德吧，根本住不上。這個還是性價比高了

The location of the hotel was very convenient right above the bus stop and there was little noise. It was difficult to communicate in English, but the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory. However, the unfortunate thing was that the heater was weak, so I felt a little cold, so I wore sports clothes and slept, so there was no problem. I think it's because I'm 67 years old and I get a lot of cold.
