Great location with outdated room. Swing door lock was missing. AC is not working (maybe I’m not using it properly). Biggest issue is noise level. It’s 12:26am and there is loud music sound coming from somewhere non stop for the last 3 hours. My room is on 13th floor. I don’t know if it’s because Friday night and maybe it’s from a bar at the ground level. Don’t people sleep here. Next time I’ll find another hotel. Vancouver was great tho
After a call and a personal visit at the front desk, finally the noise stopped around 1:05am. It was from a rooftop party. I don’t think I can sleep tonight as I’m wide awake dealing with this issue.
The following day, checked at the front desk and found out that on the weekends, there are parties on 15th floor rooftop between Thanksgiving and year end. I was able to switch room to 7th floor and the problem disappeared the following 2 nights.
I loved the location and people were friendly but just beware that you may have to deal with loud music if you were to stay on 13,14th floor (maybe 12th floor) on the weekends in Nov/Dec.

Overall great experience. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms have history and the lobby has a high class ambiance. The valet guys went above and beyond several times. The rooms, while cozy and comfortable, are a bit dated. Not to say things feel old and decrepit, rather you can tell the room hasn’t been updated in some time. Breakfast room service was excellent. Location is central and easy to get to from local hotspots. In-room toiletries were high quality. Bed very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

GGuest User2024.07.31
I booked a room for 3 persons. The location is in downtown, walkable distance to many places in Vancouver and right next to the shuttle to the suspension bridge, very close to the subway as well (but not the Canada line). The check-in process takes time as so many people in the line while the check-in staff is only 1 or 2. The elevator here is quite tricky for unfamiliar tourists like me, which the staff should have given us information at the check-in counter prior to use it. We got the high-floor room which is impressive for the view.
We’re next to Yaletown, with its buzzing restaurants, boutiques, and bars, and close to all the major concert and sports venues. Offering mainly one-bedroom suites, you’ll have plenty of space to relax. Take in views of iconic Robson Street from our year-round rooftop heated pool and enjoy steam rooms, saunas and fitness center.
JJohnMarkR2024.07.22
As everything in Vancouver, it’s expensive. But it was a quality stay here. Super friendly staff, clean and big room. The outside pool is small but nice to cool off in. The sauna works great. Gym area is small but can do the job. Location is great, Tim’s & Liquor Store right next door, bike rental, restaurants etc all nearby. Also not as many “Zombies” on the street in this area.. felt pretty safe here. The Water Faucet in the shower was los and kept falling off was the only downside of the room.. acceptable. If you got money, recommend the stay here and stay away from Gastown, Chinatown etc.. those areas are hella scary these days,

Beautiful and comfortable room. Staff were all very nice and helpful. They made us feel so welcome! Location is great with many nice cafes nearby. It’s close to city center and the harbour, just a few minutes walk. While so many hotels in Vancouver are getting old, outdated and in need of a facelift, the ExChange is really nice and I would surely come back in my next visit.

The hotel appears newly renovated, it is quite clean but the room is a bit small. Ordered for a king size bed but given 2 large king size beds, hence there is no desk if you want to eat and drink in the room.
The location is very good at downtown city center, close by to train stations and public transport. It is within a walking distance to waterfront and Yaletown.
Receptionist service staff are quite friendly, especially Priscilla, she has been very good for letting me early check in at 8.30 AM. I was also allowed for a late check out at 12PM. I would recommend this hotel for anybody whilst in Vancouver.

Good environment for hotel, and it was large area for living and good view, but I think that the hotel lobby was difficult to find it.

Stayed there twice, 1st time had a disatisfactory experience with the reception staff, he was inexperienced and forgot things when we checked in and out, couldn't charge 1 of our cards AND also double charged our debit card instead of refunding the deposit when we left. Huge, but dated rooms but depends on your luck, some rooms are newer. Overall still ok. Nice view.

I had an absolutely amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby.
The dining options were superb, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The hotel facilities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch and made my stay even more relaxing.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The team went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I felt genuinely valued as a guest.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. I can't wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.
The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️
Jjoe honeyThis hotel is best for cruise travel, because it is the nearest place for departure and arrival in Vancouver. Not only for cruise travel, but also the downtown and commerical area in Vancouver. The travel places which include Stanley Park ,conventional centre and gas town. The skytrain is just on the side of the hotel, you can use the sky train the other regions of Vancouver.
I lived 4 nights there with my wife, they cannot provide free parking space for their guest. So that you cannot ask your friend come to visit you in the hotel. The view is the best from your hotel room. I can see the crusies in and out of the harbour and also see the seaplanes flying on the sky and landing on the sea bay. The charge for seaplane of the Vancouver city tour is 199 for each single person, but just half an hour.
This hotel can provde you gym facilities and swimming pool. I recommend you to first time in Vancouver on this hotel.
GGuest UserWe have a bad experience with St. Regis. We told the front desk to help us to book a big taxi for 4 people to take us to airport in early morning, but the staff didn't mark it properly, when we double checked the 2nd time, the order wasn't there and turned out a small taxi came and they needed to reorder a big one for us.
They mixed up the room charge, it was remarked to pay at the hotel, first time the staff gave us the wrong info that both rooms were already charged to my card. Then the next day, they said it was not charged yet, we told them we paid by different credit cards, but when we checked out, they charged both rooms on my card without my permission. Finally, they cancelled 1 room payment and charge it back to my friend's card. This is very unprofessional and I haven't received my statement yet and not sure if they really cancelled the wrong payment.
Eeasy_stop1. Excellent location. Located on Granville Island, a famous leisure area in Vancouver, similar to 798, it is a transformation of an old industrial area. There are many restaurants and beverage shops, galleries and craft workshops. The most famous one is the public market, where agricultural products, food, and catering gather, and the crowds are surging. Living here is very convenient for strolling on the island. If you don't like the hustle and bustle, you can walk along the periphery of the island and enjoy the bay view.
2. The hotel's hygiene and service are quite satisfactory, and the star hotel standard. The facilities in the room are basically complete, and there is even a password safe. There is no kettle, which is a trouble for Chinese people who love to drink hot water. The sofa bed in our room is a bit old and easy to tilt, and the sofa spring is partially concave.
JJanez VoDear Hotel Manager,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn/Hilton in Vancouver and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience with the front desk team.
Unfortunately, I found the level of service to be below the usual high standards I associate with the Hampton Inn/Hilton brand. Specifically:
I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on December 15, 2024, and was informed by the front desk staff that I could not sit in the lobby because my check-in time was 3:00 p.m. The staff member's approach felt dismissive, and I was asked to leave the lobby, which was disappointing after a long journey.
Upon arrival, I even cant not have a cup of water, and it was not provided. Is this due to hotel policy, or was it an oversight? Basic services such as offering water to arriving guests are often considered a courtesy and can greatly improve the guest experience.
Additionally, the front desk staff seemed inattentive during check-in and did not address my concerns effectively. This lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome.
I understand that managing guest interactions can sometimes be challenging, but I believe addressing these issues could significantly improve the experience for future guests.
Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I appreciate the effort your team puts into ensuring high-quality service and hope this feedback helps uphold the reputation of your brand.
BBetty CCCWe only stayed for one night. It had two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom. The space was very comfortable and fully equipped like a home, with microwaves, coffee machines, instant pots, stoves, refrigerators, desks, etc.
There is a TV in each room and the living room. There are makeup mirrors and bedside tables in the bedrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the windows is very good.
The bed was very soft. I originally thought it would be too soft to sleep on, but I ended up having a good sleep until dawn. It was very comfortable.
The location is great and very convenient for shopping. There are many stores downstairs where you can buy food. There are McDonald's, Japanese ramen, and Zhenzhudan across the street~
The Chinese restaurant next door to Zhen Zhu Dan also has great food. The boss is very polite and will chat with you and recommend delicious meals to you.
GGuest UserThe location is great, but whenever we use a hair dryer, we had to call front desk to turn on the power. If you want to use a hair dryer, avoid this hotel. Once you turn on a hair dryer, the entire room's electricity will be out. I did late check in, took a shower at 1 AM, and the power was gone. So we called the front desk, but nobody picked up the phone, and we slept with out any heater and lights. It was horrible, because this happened 3 times for 10 hours staying.
AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities.
The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown
The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years)
Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!
GGuest UserWe stayed only for one night, the room was clean, bathroom delightfully equipped with towels and other accessories.
Since the hotel is in city center (limited parking)
the hotel offers overnight parking with extra cost and free valet service which is very convenient if you do not want to miss any fun and action in Vancouver downtown.Staff is professional, polite and friendly. There is adjacent restaurant with entrance right from the hotel lobby where you can have meals with 25% guest discount. I would stay in this hotel next time again.
AAnonymous UserAlthough the room is noisy because there is a pub on the ground floor, it is not a problem because the location is very strategic for solo travelers.
