"Very clean, friendly check-in staff. Loved having coffee/tea available 24 hours. The breakfast is simple (and the jam and bread both ran out on different days of my stay) with only eggs and cream cheese (for the bagels) as proteins. The dorms are very tight - there is little room to move outside of your bunk, but the privacy curtain makes that more manageable. The outlets and small shelf in the bunk also make it a nice private space. I stayed during the pedestrian street closure on Granville for FIFA, so it was frequently noisy outside until very late. Nice old building, not accessible. The under-bed lockers are VERY noisy and inconvenient."

"The room was fantastic! Very new, clean, and extremely comfortable! The amenities were clean and hygienic! I was very satisfied! The location is in one of Vancouver's most upscale and quiet neighborhoods, next to a forest with excellent air quality. On the other side are a community center and a shopping street, and it's very close to downtown. It's very convenient for visiting Vancouver's attractions and is also close to UBC. The service was excellent, very nice, thank you so much! Looking forward to staying here again!"

"Hosts were pleasant. I would have liked a tea facility and more comfortable seating area where there is already a good sized room in tbe guest area. Although we were given access to the family kitchen it was not set up to welcome guests. It was fine for a night's sleepover which is what we did."
