As everything in Vancouver, it’s expensive. But it was a quality stay here. Super friendly staff, clean and big room. The outside pool is small but nice to cool off in. The sauna works great. Gym area is small but can do the job. Location is great, Tim’s & Liquor Store right next door, bike rental, restaurants etc all nearby. Also not as many “Zombies” on the street in this area.. felt pretty safe here. The Water Faucet in the shower was los and kept falling off was the only downside of the room.. acceptable. If you got money, recommend the stay here and stay away from Gastown, Chinatown etc.. those areas are hella scary these days,

The WYCA is located pretty well central and easy to get anywhere in Vancouver. Room was clean and basic but had all you need. Bed was excellent. Wifi worked well and shower was very good. We also had a balcony. There was no kettle in the unit but free tea and brewed coffee was available in the morning. Overall it is a good value place to base yourself when staying in Vancouver

Service was ok. The rook was right at the elevators but we stayed just for 1 night so it was manageable. We had delayed flight from Vancouver and staff was nice enought to let us park the vehicle in the hotel parkade for 2 hours after check out. I personally would prefer cheaper rate for parking.

The staff were very patient and helpful. The manager let us to check in early in the morning when our flight arrived, which was appreciated. The location is excellent and the room was spacious and cozy. It had a nice lake view. The included in-room breakfast had a variety of tasty options. The Lobby floor restaurant ‘Honey Salt’ had high quality food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed dining there. Overall, this was a great hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The rooms and location were very comfortable. Both the in-room breakfast and restaurant options were excellent values. I would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel appears newly renovated, it is quite clean but the room is a bit small. Ordered for a king size bed but given 2 large king size beds, hence there is no desk if you want to eat and drink in the room. The location is very good at downtown city center, close by to train stations and public transport. It is within a walking distance to waterfront and Yaletown. Receptionist service staff are quite friendly, especially Priscilla, she has been very good for letting me early check in at 8.30 AM. I was also allowed for a late check out at 12PM. I would recommend this hotel for anybody whilst in Vancouver.

It is a twin suite, so the sofa in the living room can be pulled out to sleep. The hotel is small and in a good location in the city center business district, next to the Fairmont Hotel. The elevator is small and can only accommodate a family without being able to turn around. Fortunately, there are not many residents. The front desk had a nice smile, but they made a mistake about the room I booked. When I opened the door, I found that I had been given a double bed room. As a result, our family was very unhappy as we had to go up and down with our puppy. After all, the place is small and it’s very uncomfortable. Depressed. I won’t stay here again next time I come, it’s really frustrating. There were a lot of noises around the room at night, and the phone rang twice inexplicably in the middle of the night. The sofa bed was so soft that I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep, and the pillows were a mess. The hotel only has valet parking, which costs $50/night, and an additional fee of $50/night for dogs. There is only one restaurant on the first floor, which is said to be a Michelin-starred chef, but I spent $300 and I really didn’t get a lot of delicious food. The portion served was at Michelin-level standards—a tiny bit, but the taste was totally worth it. Breakfast is charged a la carte, minimum $30/person/person. In short, although the waiter's attitude is very good, but despite the inconvenience and depression caused by living in such a small space, international hotel chains are more comfortable. At a price of $300/night, you can stay in a brand new super five-star hotel in China.

Beautiful and comfortable room. Staff were all very nice and helpful. They made us feel so welcome! Location is great with many nice cafes nearby. It’s close to city center and the harbour, just a few minutes walk. While so many hotels in Vancouver are getting old, outdated and in need of a facelift, the ExChange is really nice and I would surely come back in my next visit.

I booked a room for 3 persons. The location is in downtown, walkable distance to many places in Vancouver and right next to the shuttle to the suspension bridge, very close to the subway as well (but not the Canada line). The check-in process takes time as so many people in the line while the check-in staff is only 1 or 2. The elevator here is quite tricky for unfamiliar tourists like me, which the staff should have given us information at the check-in counter prior to use it. We got the high-floor room which is impressive for the view.

Ffionachen2011Due to the Banff wildfire, our schedule was changed temporarily. So we could only book a hotel in Vancouver. Surprisingly, we booked a good hotel. Jjoe honeyThis hotel is best for cruise travel, because it is the nearest place for departure and arrival in Vancouver. Not only for cruise travel, but also the downtown and commerical area in Vancouver. The travel places which include Stanley Park ,conventional centre and gas town. The skytrain is just on the side of the hotel, you can use the sky train the other regions of Vancouver. I lived 4 nights there with my wife, they cannot provide free parking space for their guest. So that you cannot ask your friend come to visit you in the hotel. The view is the best from your hotel room. I can see the crusies in and out of the harbour and also see the seaplanes flying on the sky and landing on the sea bay. The charge for seaplane of the Vancouver city tour is 199 for each single person, but just half an hour. This hotel can provde you gym facilities and swimming pool. I recommend you to first time in Vancouver on this hotel.

GGuest UserWe have a bad experience with St. Regis. We told the front desk to help us to book a big taxi for 4 people to take us to airport in early morning, but the staff didn't mark it properly, when we double checked the 2nd time, the order wasn't there and turned out a small taxi came and they needed to reorder a big one for us. They mixed up the room charge, it was remarked to pay at the hotel, first time the staff gave us the wrong info that both rooms were already charged to my card. Then the next day, they said it was not charged yet, we told them we paid by different credit cards, but when we checked out, they charged both rooms on my card without my permission. Finally, they cancelled 1 room payment and charge it back to my friend's card. This is very unprofessional and I haven't received my statement yet and not sure if they really cancelled the wrong payment.

Eeasy_stop1. Excellent location. Located on Granville Island, a famous leisure area in Vancouver, similar to 798, it is a transformation of an old industrial area. There are many restaurants and beverage shops, galleries and craft workshops. The most famous one is the public market, where agricultural products, food, and catering gather, and the crowds are surging. Living here is very convenient for strolling on the island. If you don't like the hustle and bustle, you can walk along the periphery of the island and enjoy the bay view. 2. The hotel's hygiene and service are quite satisfactory, and the star hotel standard. The facilities in the room are basically complete, and there is even a password safe. There is no kettle, which is a trouble for Chinese people who love to drink hot water. The sofa bed in our room is a bit old and easy to tilt, and the sofa spring is partially concave.

GGuest User<Fairmont Grand Vancouver> is also a hotel managed by Fairmont. Fairmont has always been the best at managing old castle hotels. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, and the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which I introduced to you before, are all castle hotels managed by Fairmont. The hotel is located in a landmark building in Vancouver. The exterior is a bit like the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and it is also a castle-style building. There are many doors designed to the outside, about four or five. Because it is located in the city center, four or five doors can lead to the main road. The side door is decorated with new chandeliers and simple furniture as a waiting room. In addition, the door for parking and dropping off passengers also uses new chandeliers, various leather sofas, and a coffee table made of suitcases. Take the elevator to the room. The space is not very large, with two large beds. Because it is a family of five, we booked the room in advance, so we arranged two rooms with a connecting door in the middle so that we can take care of each other. Opposite the big bed is a floor cabinet with a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is a contact design. Once the beverage is taken out, the fee will be automatically deducted. Overall, although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. The bathroom is a little small, and it looks not well maintained. Looking out of the window, you can see the Vancouver Cathedral. Because it is in the city center, the night view is very beautiful and the view is great. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. When you come to the lobby, one door faces the street and the other door faces the interior of the hotel. The first floor is mostly rented to luxury brands, which is equivalent to stepping into the lobby and visiting many luxury stores. When you get tired of shopping, turn around and go out to the street, which is the center of Vancouver. There are countless high-end brand stores within a radius of 50 meters, and you can't finish shopping. Whether it is the heritage of historical buildings or the geographical location, it is unique. The most important thing is that you can choose to delay payment when booking a room. When I first placed an order, the room price was 3,500 per night, but when I was about to leave for Vancouver, I looked at the price and it dropped to 2,500. Fortunately, I chose to delay payment, and I checked out immediately and placed a new order. The original total room rate of more than 7,000 yuan ended up costing more than 5,000 yuan, saving a lot of money. You know, five-star hotels in Vancouver are very expensive, basically starting at 3,000 or 4,000 yuan, but this one can be bought for 2,500 yuan, which is very cost-effective. Secondly, the hotel management is very good. We arrived at the hotel before 10 o'clock in the morning. In theory, we couldn't check in yet, and we were ready to go out after storing our luggage. As a result, when we checked in, we were told that the room had been cleaned up, which was really a surprise. Overall, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a cost-effective choice. The check-in experience is very good, and the location is impeccable. It is recommended to stay.

AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities. The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years) Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

DDubious deposit required and lengthy refund of it!The room looked like it was recently redone so it was clean with comfortable bed with white towels. Upon check in reception stated we did not have breakfast included and that a deposit of $100 was required but I would receive it back within 2-3 days on my c. card. I already prepaid online for the room which was $386 with taxes I later checked my voucher and it did say we had a breakfast for 2 so I brought it down in the reception gave us 2 breakfast vouchers. Breakfast cost is $15 per person minus 20% as a hotel guest normally. The breakfast does not include drinks only water. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, pan cakes, bread for toasting and hash browns. I went to the hotel reception and retrieved coffee & tea from the reception machine. Upon check out the gentleman now at reception said a $200 deposit charge would be refunded in 2-3 weeks! I asked why so long as I can get my money on a store return in a day!?! He didn’t have a clear answer. Anyways, I guess I’ll have to wait and ensure it does go on. I’m not sure why such a big deposit charged and why it would take weeks to refund…something fishy on this part but we’ve been there and can’t change it. However , I am dubious to use Choice Hotels - Quality Inn & Suites again since it seemed inconsistent as to the staff knowing why they charge a high amount and the return time. I also had booked a Choice Hotel for our return home and had put the incorrect date in by one day. They would not modify it and only cancelled it and still charged me! So their billing is skcetchy to me and that was my dealing with 2 of their Choice Hotel units

GGavin AndrewSuite with one bed in a room, two beds in the main room which is an open studio to a kitchen. Small balcony too! Great location at the end of Robson Street so can walk into the action, but still fairly quiet. Prob want to open the windows to air the room out a bit after cleaning, but perfectly fine. Watch out for small charges. We didn't hit any tripwires, but there is a 2.4% charge for credit card and clean up fees if you leave dirty dishes and such. So don't leave in a hurry! Check in and check out was quick. The hotel doesn't seem to have facilities, but when you have a kitchen in the room, quite OK! Would def go again. Note that the old hotel name is still on the front, so don't be confused. Worked out fine.

LLillian LoThe transportation is convenient, but there is a bar downstairs, and the sound insulation is not good. People who are afraid of noise may not be able to sleep. There are only stairs and you need to carry your luggage upstairs.
