Booked a triple room for two nights and arranged it on the top floor, room311. In Venice in July, the room on the top floor is almost like an oven. Although there is a mobile air conditioner in the room, it is placed next to the window and the ventilation duct is also placed on the window. The window cannot be closed. The cold wind from the moving air could only be felt by standing at the vent. The whole room was still super stuffy. What's worse is that it rains at night, the window cannot be closed, and the rain hits the bed directly. I asked to change rooms the next day, but there was no response from the service staff because of last night's situation. The room change offered was a dark double room with an extra bed behind the counter, room 101. This was the only option. It was up to me whether I wanted to change. I decided to change rooms. Although room 101 was not that good, at least it wasn't hot and I wouldn't get wet in the rain. Although the room rate I booked is cheaper than most room rates in Venice, we should not provide a room that is like an oven and makes people wet just because the price is cheap. What is even more unacceptable is that the service staff did not respond to this situation.
