My visit to Vic Falls was so magical and this is what Bayete offers. Pure, undiluted magic. A great place for travellers, couples or families. I loved the breakfast menu too. Compliments to the chefs. Hats off to the friendly and professional staff. Will definitely go back to Bayete. Loved every bit of my stay.

The are three hotels in three Bayete family in VF. At this one it comes across as a small boutique hotel in size, but not in decor or quality. It is a bit older and could do with a refresh in the rooms, but they were immaculately clean. Be aware that not all rooms are the same as noted by other reviewers. Ours has the 3/4 dividing wall between wall and toilet, so no privacy (from the usual bathroom noises). So that was an experience. However, any shortcomings were made up for by the beautiful staff. A short out to Clive, Noma, Anele and Charles, in particular, who is an absolute professional. The food here was excellent also.

A nice play to stay.. nicely decorated rooms. Lots of greenery, craft/artwork around the lodge. Close to the city centre. Very friendly staff and each one of them ensures that we have a comfortable stay at Bayete. Very good breakfast..and good dinner too.

An excellent way to round off our trip to Africa. We spent two nights at this lovely hotel/Lodge in Victoria Falls. The room was very clean and spacious and the lodge was set in spectacular surroundings with pool included. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommendable.

We stayed in Bayete Guest Lodge during our visit to Victoria Falls and highly recommend it. Staying in a twin room, the room was impeccably made up and ultra clean. The location is also very secure and safe. It was lovely to sit out by the pool in the evening with a Zambesi Beer and enjoy our time here.

Bayete was a very nice lodge in Vic Falls, and we stayed there both before and after a recent safari. On the first stay we had rooms 1,2&3 - they were older and fairly basic. In the return we had rooms 19 and 20, and they were much newer, larger, and had a full tub as well as shower. I’d recommend rooms 10 and higher. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good as well.

We stayed at Bayete guest lodge for 3 nights while exploring Victoria Falls. It’s in a quiet, more residential neighborhood, about a $5 taxi ride from town (though most of our activities included free pickup and drop off). The setting is lush and beautiful, with a nice area to relax around the pool near the open-sided restaurant and bar. The room was basic, but clean, and the daily turndown service was a nice touch. Breakfast was included, but we also ate lunch and dinner there a couple of times and the food was always fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping us arrange activities and offering suggestions for places to go/things to do, and even telling us about other parts of Zimbabwe they thought we might enjoy visiting. Romeo, the resident cat, was very charming as well!

We stayed at Bayette Guest Lodge when we were in Vic Falls celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and card, which was a lovely gesture. The facilities are spotlessly clean, the food great, but most of all the staff are a real credit to the hotel. Friendly, kind with excellent customer service, we can't thank them enough for making our stay so memorable. My wife was poorly for a day, and all the staff were so kind and thoughtful. The hotel is walkable (around 30mins) from the town or a short taxi journey. We can't recommend the Bayette enough. Thank you all.

We only stayed one night here - our first night - and we really enjoyed it. It had a lovely atmosphere and setting. You really feel like you're tucked away in some sort a retreat. The pool is small but adequate for a dip to cool down. The bar was perfect and the food was good. Breakfast was great - with the vegan english breakfast a real winner! We had a family room which helped. The rooms have character which we appreciated and felt more authentic and less sterile than other hotels. Would gladly recommend and re-visit!
