My family loved the place for its quiet location and the convenience of supermarket and food outlet less than 50m away. Facilities were all there, the kitchenette, washing machine and dryer. The best part was the free parking which is right in front of the apartment.

Great hotel! We arrived late, but the front desk was open for check-in. Self-checkout was convenient, and there's free parking right outside, which is super handy for drivers. It's very close to Black Sand Beach and Red House, with a supermarket and restaurants directly opposite. Highly recommend!

The room was very big and comfortable, there was laundry area in the bathroom

Our entire stay was excellent. The hotel's ambiance is quiet and elegant, and the cleanliness is meticulously maintained. Service was prompt, and any requests were handled efficiently. The food quality was high, and all facilities were well-maintained. It's an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure.

The room was very clean. It's a two-bedroom, one-living-room standalone house with all the kitchen essentials except oil. They did provide salt and black pepper though. The toiletries were L'Occitane, and the bedding was very comfortable. Plus, it had a separate washer and dryer.

The two-bedroom apartment offered great value for money. The rooms were clean and hygienic. However, the living room was too spacious, so the heating wasn't sufficient. The master bedroom had an extra heater, but the small bedroom didn't. The bathroom door couldn't be kept open, making the bathroom very hot. On the plus side, it had a washing machine and a dryer, which is incredibly important for self-driving tours! The kitchen was well-equipped, though it lacked cooking oil. The location was right in the town center, directly opposite a supermarket.

Nice places, recommend

Vik Apartment is a 10/10 option for families in the southern Iceland. Vik Hotel reception on the left side, supermarket and restaurants on the right side. The facilities are also perfect.

Registration was very smooth despite our late check-in, and the staff were very helpful during our check-out on 29 Sept, especially since our apartment was on the second floor. We loved the apartment — great facilities, beautiful view, and perfect location. We even managed to see our first aurora in Vik!

Very comfortable accommodation conveniently located. Modern and roomy

We arrived at 6:30, the digital lock is not working and apparently the battery was dead. We called the customer service and they insisted that we don’t know how to activate the lock with a very bad attitude. They came around 7:00 and at 7:30 they finally fixed the lock and the whole experience was so disappointing that we have to be stranded out in the cold for an hour. Service was totally unacceptable and there is a few lights that doesn’t work in the apartment as well.

Hands down, this was the most satisfying apartment on our Iceland trip and our absolute favorite accommodation. The apartment's design is incredibly practical and well-thought-out. It's spacious yet cozy, and perfectly styled for a couple. Parking is convenient, and right across the street, you'll find a supermarket, a coffee shop, and an Icewear outlet. Plus, there are places nearby serving delicious black pizza and fried noodles. Vík town itself is absolutely beautiful, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. If you're not rushing through your itinerary, I'd highly recommend staying an extra day!

Right across from the supermarket, the location is fantastic! We even saw the Northern Lights just by stepping out the door at night. Our room had a kitchen, which was super convenient for cooking. The only minor issue was that our room wasn't quite warm enough, but we called the front desk and they quickly brought up an electric heater. Overall, I highly recommend it!
