The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. However the ear plugs on the pillow should have been a giveaway. It’s an old, non sound insulated building, right next to an Asda. Kind of expected that so no real problem, but I’d definitely recommend using the ear plugs. The toilet seat falling off, the fascia above the oven hitting the floor as we opened the fridge, and the shower door that wouldn’t close because it had fallen off the rack at the top took the gloss off however. And the bed had definitely seen better days from a comfort perspective, though again spotlessly clean and very stylish. Would perhaps stay again as location and parking great, and the in room facilities are very handy. In a different room though.

Was a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but I found a lovely gem of a place. Stayed in Nightingale which was the top floor. Quirky, spacious and steeped in history. Wonderful renovation of what must be a 400 year old building. Comfortable beds and pillows, great shower and loved the Molton Brown condiments. For a 400 years old building and some creaky floorboards we slept really well. Parking was super convenient. I would highly encourage people to stay here and enjoy something different and lavish. Certainly for a special occassion like we did.

Nice studios and ideal central location with free parking for staying in Worcester but noise from Asda early morning deliveries and a garage or business next door was disappointing at 6am on a Sat /Sun morning. Bed comfortable but kitchen counter was sticky and looked like it hadn't been wiped properly since previous occupant.

The old infirmary is in a great location for exploring the city, everywhere is accessible on foot once you are there. The room was great, spacious, well equipped and very tastefully decorated, in keeping with the original building. The on-site car parking was a bonus and we were able to park there prior to check in which was great. We found the hosts to be extremely helpful and responsive. There is a bit of road noise but we didn’t find it to be anything major, pretty normal for a city centre hotel! We would definitely recommend.

We recently stayed in this property in the Lister room. We were there for one night, Saturday in to Sunday. Having read some of the other reviews, I thought it might be helpful to share our experience. On booking via *********** we received communication with details of our bookings and clear instructions. Prior to check in we were given a code for the front door and our room. On arrival, we found parking spaces available. We were early and the rooms were still being cleaned, however the lady that met us was very helpful and friendly and was very open to us leaving things in the room if we wanted to. Because we had arrived early we decided to leave our things in the car and go in search of lunch. The room we were allocated to was called Lister. It was a good sized room on the first floor. It is true that you can hear the people moving about in the room above you and the floorboards in the kitchen area making a noise when you walk on them. That said, the bathroom was well presented and the bed was comfortable. The property is next door to the back of a large Asda store and close to a main road. We did experience any problems with the Asda store location but I suspect the back of the store, where there is a large warehouse door, may be an area for deliveries. We did not experience excessive noise or problems in the car park, but I think that this type of property may be booked by people wanting to party. Fortunately that was not the case when we stayed. Free parking and WIFI and access to plenty of choice on the TV. Lister also had a decent ceiling height but rooms on a higher floor may have a lower ceiling.

Do not book this place. I booked it for me and my daughter to explore Worcester. The bed squeaks every single time you move! The owner was rude beyond belief, when I complained to ***********, the owner suggested I was trying to get a "freebie". Even though they apparantely have CCTV. They also suggested I was lying about someone trying access our room circa 11pm to 12pm. Wouldn't be a huge problem, if the door didn't open directly to the car park. When I complained, I was told the maintenance team "one lovely woman who cleans the rooms" would fix it! How do you fix a squeaky metal framed bed?? Also, not suitable for tall people. The shower door does not shut properly either. I cannot believe that a squeaky bed is considered something I should pay for! You find out people's true colours only when you have an issue that needs resolving. I would have been happy to change rooms however, they couldn't accommodate that either!

Great city centre location, close to all amenities, safe secured, hidden away so you wouldn't notice it, which gives you great privacy. Beautifully decorated, furnished, keeping in with it's original features. Would highly recommend it.

Stayed in the Maddox suite. Spotlessly clean and nice toiletry bag with accessories in the bathroom. Plenty of towels, bedding and pillows. No problems with check in. A few issues to be aware of though. Very squeaky bedframe and the bed has a footboard so anybody over about 5 foot 11 would struggle to get comfortable. Seal on the bottom of the shower door isn't great so it leaks a bit on the floor - all soaked up with the foot mat and towels though. The room was really REALLY warm and the bathroom was like a sauna. Managed to turn down the temperature in the room okay but the bathroom stayed really hot. The front door which opened straight on to the street was very draughty and didn't feel mega secure. The floorboards in the unit upstairs were incredibly squeaky and we heard every footstep because of that. Fortunately the occupants were out most of the time we were in so it wasn't a problem. The apartment is right next to an Asda so deliveries early in the morning are loud too. Not much in the way of kitchen equipment (no chopping knives, corkscrew etc) but plenty of mugs, plates and saucepans. As long as you research the area and are okay with an old property that squeaks a lot, you'll be fine and will enjoy your stay. The character of the place is amazing.
