Friendly, helpful staff clean rooms and a pleasure for a change to shower with decent water pressure and plenty hot water and be woken up by birds not traffic. Tailored to local taste but this is understandable considering I was one of maybe three Europeans I saw over the weekend.

The hotel is clean, cheap and has great service! Very quiet! It takes 2 minutes to get to the beach. Turn right and you will reach Sunlight Rock in a few minutes. Turn left and you will reach Shuzhuang Garden in a few minutes. Very convenient. Recommended!

I spent two days and two nights on Gulangyu Island for the first time. I was so lucky to find a good hotel to stay in on my first visit without any bad luck [applause].
