This is a lovely simple hotel with a beautiful yard. The room was clean and nice. We enjoyed sitting at the yard, drinking a beer and chatting with people. It is located in a vibrant district full of shops and markets. Also within walking distance from Zhongshan Lu, the main pedestrian street. We did not have any problems with the chech in and our reservation was honored. Highly recommend for exploring the area as a foreign tourist.

The biggest mistake I made when visiting Xiamen was booking this B&B. I arrived at around 1pm, but the room had not been cleaned yet and I needed to wait. That was not a big deal. After the cleaning, I went to the room and saw only a tatami. The toilet had a smell and was quite small. The room was definitely not 25 square meters, but about 12 square meters. There was only one socket, so charging was inconvenient. The room was not soundproof and there were many mosquitoes. I really regretted it and will never book a B&B again.
