Overall I'm quite satisfied. It's in the Chinatown in the center of Xiamen. It's more convenient to go shopping and go to scenic spots. You can get to the hotel safely after playing every day. I am very happy with the family room which is very nice, comfortable and has a landmark city view. The location is good. It is very near Zhong Shan Lu (buxungjie). The toilet bowl is the one which has the functions of warming, cleaning and auto flashing. I am impressed by the ”smart housekeeper”, in the form of a small cylinder,. I verbally gave instructions to it and it would execute your instructions. It can also chatted with you. It is amazing. At my floor, there was a small but very nice garden. . If the hotel can help customers to buy ferry tickets, it would be excellent. Currently, non- PRC residents are unable to buy ferry tickets online.

Great place near lots of good food. Didn't have any trouble checking in as a foreigner. The staff was extremely helpful and helped me get a SIM card as well as book a ferry ticket. They did a great job and I'm very thankful.

The Zhongshan Road hotel we stayed at during this trip to Xiamen was great! 🌟The location is excellent. It is located in the core area of ​​Zhongshan Road. There is a lively pedestrian street right outside the door. There are many delicious food. It is close to attractions and is convenient for travel. 🛏The room is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy, the bedding is soft, and the facilities are complete. The air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi are all great, and the bathroom has no smell. 💁♀The service staff are warm and thoughtful, patiently answer questions, considerate and caring, and the rooms are cleaned in a timely manner. 🎉The stay experience was great, highly recommended! The hotel is good for a short stay. The location is great but I first missed it because the 1st photo on description is not the hotel building. It is a little loud frommthe outside but after 9 or 10pm it was quiet and I had no troible sleeping.

Great location. A little noisy as the room was facing the back road and the toilet windows cannot be closed. Escalators didn't work all the time. Wifi works for foreigner as there's an alternative way to login with the room number. We did not want housekeeping so they left water outside our door everyday.

It is not noisy after the shops close at night, so you can rest quietly. The owner is a young man, very nice, and responds promptly on WeChat. After arriving, I contacted him and he came to open the door and check in immediately. The room is very clean, especially the toilet and wash area, which are very clean and look quite new. The terrace has a good view and is very comfortable, with a rocking chair; The facilities in the house are quite complete, with toiletries, a small refrigerator and a projector, which is completely enjoyable. The disadvantage is that the room is on the fifth floor... It is similar to an external structure, and the stairs are narrow. It is very inconvenient if you have large luggage, especially for middle-aged and elderly people...

I originally booked just one night for a room with 'no window'. Upon arrival, they gave me a room with a small window but with a wonderful view outside. So I immediately extended my stay to 3 nights. A soaring office tower nearby put on a fantastic lights show every night. The room was very clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities included. Lots of local buses and BRT buses right around the corner with many fascinating shops & eateries. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. I'd like to give my thanks to two particular staff, Ms. Chen Mei 陈梅 & Ms. Lisa Lee Xia 李霞. They both went above and beyond during my stay to help me with many things, from purchasing Gulangyu ferry ticket, to helping me to set up my Alipay, WeChat, and other mundane things that normally would make any new visitor from outside of China crazy upon arrival. They both were very sweet, courteous, professional and efficient. They made my stay in Xiamen very enjoyable and easy to maneuver. The other male staff are also very friendly. Lastly, did I say Echeng Hotel has a robot server? I saw it one night delivering dinner from the ground floor to a room on the 6th floor and then returned to the ground floor lobby by itself. Very cool!

However, it is not recommended to try Fulai Restaurant downstairs in the hotel (it is not owned by the hotel and is run by someone else). The taste of the dishes and the hygienic conditions of the restaurant are very average.
