Downstairs, there's a night market and food street with everything you could want to eat. The hotel is also just 100 meters from a bus stop, with direct routes to the Zaoyuan Revolutionary Site and Yangjialing Revolutionary Site. No need for a taxi or driving yourself; I just took the bus there. You can also see the city of Yan'an along the way, which I thought was great. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. My only suggestion for improvement is that there was a slight drain smell from the sink when washing my face. Also, I wish the laundry room had some kind of air freshener to keep the air fresh.
