The room on the first day was not very good, so I paid extra to upgrade the room. The hotel listened to my feedback and improved the service. The new room is very large, with a lake view, a water bar, a capsule coffee machine, and a lot of water for me. The sanitation is also in place. Yangzhou Shangri-La is next to the Yangzhou Museum. It is good to stay here for self-driving tours, and parking is also convenient. If you are not driving, it is a bit remote to go to the attractions in the old city. The breakfast is a little inferior to Shangri-La in other cities. Maybe it is because there are too many people during the Spring Festival. There are too many people, and many things are gone as soon as they come out.

Old customers, often in this home, the room environment is spacious and bright, comfortable and pleasant, the health is very clean, parking is half a fee, and the front desk can get a parking ticket, very close to the Yangzhou Stadium train station, after dinner at night, you can go to the nearby Mingyue Lake for a walk to eat. There is a refrigerator, washing machine and laundry detergent in the room. It is free and convenient. My experience and feelings after staying here:
1. The room smells, probably because it is damp;
2. The room is not cleaned thoroughly:
(1) There are yellow stains and a lot of hair on the sofa, especially at the corners, which looks very uncomfortable;
(2) After accidentally dropping clothes into the washing machine, I found that the hygiene behind the washing machine was terrible;
(3) There were dust and oil stains on the coffee table and TV cabinet. I used two disinfectant wet wipes to wipe them, but the wipes were still black and yellow and could not be wiped clean. I decisively gave up using them.
3. The windows are poorly soundproofed, and the rooms facing the street are noisy.
4. The bathroom door is an upper track door with no track underneath. It has been in disrepair for many years. I am worried that it will fall down at any time.
I can accept all of the above. You get what you pay for. What I can't accept the most is:
5. There are bugs on the bed. My son found one first, and then I found another one. I immediately looked for another hotel.
Next time I book a hotel, I must read the reviews first. I used to think that some people are nitpicking. Sometimes you need to make do when you are away from home, but now it seems that some situations are still unbearable.
The above problems are easy to rectify. After they are solved, this apartment is also good:
1. The front desk lady is very friendly and upgraded me to a room on a higher floor.
2. The location is excellent, not far from the train station, there is a restaurant downstairs, and there is a life plaza 1 km away.

I stayed in Chunhui Building No. 2. As soon as I walked in, I felt very good. There was no peculiar smell in the lobby, the service staff were enthusiastic, and there were many meetings going on nearby. I traveled with my friends and booked 2 rooms with consecutive numbers. Everything went well in our room, and our window faced south, because it was spring, and the morning sun was better. My friend had a little problem. There was no hot water for 2 consecutive days, but the hotel responded quickly and solved the problem quickly, so the overall experience was good. The hotel is quiet and does not affect sleep, and the room is spacious. Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose to stay here again. There is a lot of traffic jam in Yangzhou city. I can park my car for free at the hotel (parking is convenient at the hotel), and it is very convenient to take a taxi to various attractions.

The room is a bit small, with 2 standard beds and 1 sofa bed. The TV is super small for a 5-star hotel, and the lobby is also small. There is a smell in the room, and it feels like the exhaust is not good. Fortunately, it can be turned on, but the fan is not sealed and it will leak in winter. The Yangzhou fried rice under the hotel's salt official hat is 198 per bowl, which is just a gimmick and an IQ tax. The gym is locked during the day and cannot be used, and the swimming pool seems to be locked as well. Yangzhou is not big, you can ride a shared electric stove to go around everywhere, such as Pi Shi Street, Cai Yi Street, and Dongguan Street, where you can eat and eat, and there are crowds everywhere. Pi Shi Street is relatively less crowded. Overall, the experience of a three-day and two-day free travel is not good, and I guess I won't go there next time

GGuest UserI like it very much, and I rarely write reviews, so I decided to write a review to provide a channel for everyone to understand. I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it.
Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful.
Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days.
Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

GGuest UserYitel Yangzhou on Qionbhuz building is one of the best hotel experience we had when we traveled Jiangsu province of China in the month of March 2025.
The hotel is situated near the city center and shows warm hospitality on our arrival and continues surprising us with great services, including room, laundry, travel and dining.
We were assigned a room butler Chienchien and the sweet girl provided us with abundant travel information about Yangzhou. One rainy night, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and got an opportunity to chat with the restaurant manager Mr. Chen. Not only he offered us the super dining service, he also talked with us on local news and stories about Yangzhou, good recommendation of traditional food and heritage restaurant, plus the travel tips on visiting Slender West Lake and Great Canal Museum, which are the famous city sites.
Overall, we stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful first visit on Yangzhou because of the hospitality from this hotel. I highly recommend the stay for anyone traveling to the city.

GGuest UserThe Blossom House is clean, stylishly furnished throughout, and very well run, by efficient staff who offered a genuinely caring service which made us feel at home. It is conveniently located in a quiet corner of a large, up market compound with many eateries, pubs and even a Starbucks that opens till 10pm, and is situated by the Slender Lake which is picturesque beyond words. In early summer the air was always so fresh and we could hear the birds sing on the balcony in the morning. The hotel also has a well equipped 24-hour self-service laundry room which is especially convenient to us.
Special thanks to Emma and her team who have looked after us very well, always with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble.
Yangzhou is a beautiful historic city which is relatively unspoiled. It is very rich in culture and the locals are nice and friendly. This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We shall return to this wonderful city and hotel!

SSajadWe were there 2 nights for business trip, the hotel front desk were amazing really they are great,also all staff they were very polite and kindness, the room clneas ,amenities, all things were good.we arrived late about 10 PM and they prepared to us a delicious noodles, also our ticket was 4 o'clock and we were tired the hotel let us be there till 3 pm instead of 12.
We recommend this hotel to every one they are wonderful

AArnold FaamOne of the best customer service from the front desk that I have experienced in a long time. 石妍艳 (I think her name is Arial) upgraded my Tatami room to a large king size room and she personally lead us to the room. She added me to her Wechat and forwarded some food guides in Yangzhou. The room is clean. Location is excellent if you want to visit the Dongguan Old Street and the many restaurants within walking distant. She offered to deliver some desserts to our room int he evening. Upon checking out, there was a gift waiting for us. It was a box of the famous candy from Yangzhou. Thanks to 石妍艳 and her colleague for their nice hospitality and gestures.

GGuest UserFacilities: The beds, tables and chairs are basically new, antique, the bedding is very clean, no smell of smoke, very friendly to guests who have non-smoking needs.
Environment: Living in a series of buildings, you can experience the very authentic local architectural features of Yangzhou. There is also a pool in the courtyard, and the Feng Shui layout is very particular. The corridors are full of lanterns, and taking pictures at night is particularly good.
Features of the entrance: The decoration is very characteristic of Jiangnan, very clever, even if you don’t go to the scenic spot, taking pictures in the Ice Ou Pavilion is very good.
Hygiene: Check the kettle when you check in, there is hair on the lid, but you can see the training of the cleaning staff and the energy and professionalism of the staff. The lid of the kettle is easy to fall off. When pouring hot water, the back of the little finger is scalded by water vapor. This is my personal operation problem, but the hotel also needs to work harder on small details. After all, if you want to go the high-end route, you need to think about every service detail.
Front desk service: The little brother and sister at the front desk are very enthusiastic, helping to store bags, giving meal tickets, and making some friendly reminders. The responsibilities and obligations of the front desk are basically done very well.
Catering: Breakfast is provided by Xiyanjia of Bingouguan, a typical Yangzhou morning tea, with four buns of various fillings, a fruit plate (watermelon), a small dish platter (pickles, crystal braised pork, mushrooms), and two bowls of staple food (Yangchun noodles/shrimp roe wontons/dumpling noodles). It is mainly noodles, and the taste is quite satisfactory. It is recommended to add fresh vegetables for a more comprehensive nutritional combination.
Location: Pishi Street is just opposite Bingouguan Road. It is easy to go to Dongguan Street, Caiyi Street, Geyuan, and Heyuan. If you go to Yangzhou Railway Station, Wenchang Road in front of Bingouguan goes directly to it, and it is very close to Daming Temple in Slender West Lake. In short, the transportation and geographical location are the huge advantages here.

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

about the hotel: the upgraded room was nice and big, got a nice window, nice a/c, comfy sofa. If I have to point at something I do not particuarly like is the bathroom: I'm not fond of the toilet and bathroom facilities made of that sort of hardened plastic, feels/looks weird to me.
Position is also nice, there are a bunch of hotels in the area and there's a shopping mall close by, I had dinner close to the hotel and it was delicious (seafood restaurant), it's also on a reasonable walking distance from one of the entrances of the slender west lake (I went to the night opening, entrance ticket is not cheap (120 rmb) but I think the park at night wasn't bad at all). Beside that you can hop on the bas stop which is just nearby to get to the station to one side or the old town to the other, transportation is quite convenient (also because the city itself is not that big).
anyway, I enjoyed my stay, the room size is definitely very generous and I would totally stay again and recommend it.
