The staff in the store are a group of friends. They will take the initiative to ask if you need anything to drink. If you have any needs, tell them at any time. Very considerate. It’s a bit cold at night and they will remind you to put on more clothes. The boss treated us to a barbecue, which was delicious. I ate a lot these days. It’s so warm and thoughtful. Kui Ran adheres to the philosophy of "Let the mountains return to nature and people to their true selves", creating a place for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. My husband and I loved our stay here so much, we decided to extend it by another day. The area is idyllic and restful (definitely appreciated the quiet compared to the bustle of the Lijiang Old Town) but still really convenient for didi pick up and drop offs. The auntie in the in-house restaurant cooked really delicious naxi dishes and we took advantage of the ability to order lunch and dinner in addition to the free breakfast whenever we could. Best of all, service was impeccable. We had no fixed itinerary and were basically flying by the seat of our pants on the day to day, and the front desk staff, especially Wu, were super helpful in offering suggestions and helping to make bookings for us when they could. Lijiang was a great stop for us and this homestay played a huge part in that. Will definitely return if we ever come back to Lijiang!

Staying here, time slows down, as if walking into the slow life in the novel, leisurely and comfortable, making me reluctant to leave. I heard that the homestay is opened by several young people. They also gave us oxygen tanks for fear that we would have altitude sickness. The room had a view of the snow-capped mountains. The upper and lower floors were very large and not depressing.
