The hotel environment is clean, refreshing and very good. The surrounding transportation is convenient and there is a large parking lot. The free breakfast was given, but the portion was a bit small and I didn’t feel full. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The guy at the front desk was very user-friendly and helped upgrade the room. He said the view on the fourth floor would be better. As expected, I could see the sunrise 🌄, which was very beautiful. The room was also very large. We had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor on the night of our stay. Because there was a banquet, the waiter said to order the dishes quickly and cook them first. It was a perfect match. My family and I were very satisfied.

Very clean and well kept hotel. Breakfast is a buffet with amsixng food. The shower has an amazing rainfall shower head.

I took my children to Zhangjiagang during the peak period of National Day. I was so tired that I didn’t return to Shanghai on the same day. I booked this hotel. The environment is better, the sanitation is relatively clean, and the parking is convenient. The only drawback is that the price is not good. The breakfast fee is included. I went out to have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the street. When I checked out, my baby asked me to write a few messages, so I came up with the following text, which is quite meaningful.

The room is very spacious and clean. The nanny-style service is very considerate. There are snacks and yogurt. Qian Yihao at the front desk also asked about sleeping habits in advance and prepared pillows, slippers, toiletries, etc. In addition, the hotel gave a cycling tour around the lake. You can choose a two-person car or a small car per person. It's great👍

Zhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv. I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this. Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app. Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

The best hotel ever. Don't know how many stars but feel that you are in 5stars hotel with correspondent price. So warmly helpful staffs, in any situation try to find a way. Very tasty breakfast.

The room was clean, elegant, bright and spacious. The children could each find their own fun, and the dogs could also explore in the courtyard. Playing Frisbee is pet-friendly. As long as you don't damage the facilities or make the room dirty, you won't even be charged a pet cleaning fee. I've stayed in so many pet-friendly hotels, and this one is definitely OK. After settling down in the afternoon, you can soak in the outdoor hot spring at the hotel. Because there are fewer people, the hot spring is also very clean. The hot spring water is drawn from the center of the river, which has unique medical and beauty effects. On this February day, it is very warm to soak outdoors. Comfortable. For dinner, you can choose the old street next to it. You must have a bowl of crab wontons, which are so delicious that they will make you lose your eyebrows. For a family trip, you can rent a tandem bicycle and slowly pedal around the island. There are reed marshes, crab tidal flats, wetland parks, golf courses and other natural scenery to enjoy. In short, this rare place that does not count the number of people is worth a visit. Let's go and have half a day's leisure.
