I took my children to Zhangjiagang during the peak period of National Day. I was so tired that I didn’t return to Shanghai on the same day. I booked this hotel. The environment is better, the sanitation is relatively clean, and the parking is convenient. The only drawback is that the price is not good. The breakfast fee is included. I went out to have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the street. When I checked out, my baby asked me to write a few messages, so I came up with the following text, which is quite meaningful.

Zhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv. I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this. Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app. Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

A good hotel for a business trip to Zhangjigang. The breakfast has a good standard. Fresh fruits, Chinese noodles, eggs to customers choice and many more is offered. A small gym let you train a bit (could be bigger!). The restaurant is opened till 10:30pm and provides some tasty snacks when the work day lasts a bit longer and the nearby restaurants in the shopping mall are already closed. The Starbucks in the mall opens at 06:30 and is just a 7 minutes walk away.

The experience is very good, the scenery is beautiful, and the service is especially good. I felt the service quality as soon as I entered the lobby. From the moment I entered the door, I was infected by the enthusiastic service of the housekeeper Xiaoxin. Miss Xiaoxin was also very patient in receiving children. She also helped us find ways to entertain when it rained. Then the room was spacious and bright, and the layout was very warm and comfortable. If there were any problems, you could ask the housekeeper to solve them. The efficiency was very high. The bed was soft and comfortable, and they would call in advance to ask if there were any special requirements. The hotel is in the ecological park, the environment is very good, it is very quiet at night, the sound insulation of the room is also very good, and the hotel facilities are also very complete, including gyms, swimming pools and other facilities. It is really very convenient. Moreover, the location of the hotel is also very superior, with convenient transportation around. There are Wuyue Plaza and other places not far away, which has brought great convenience to my travel. A five-star hotel should be able to win in the details😀

Clean and hygienic, elegant environment. There is also a small terrace outside the room where you can relax and drink tea. There is a bathtub, so you can take a hot bath when it's cold. Behind the building is the wetland and the lakeside. In addition to the pleasant scenery, you can also take a walk there. The service is also very good and very comfortable.

The suite room I booked is spacious, clean and hygienic. The food in the Chinese restaurant is delicious. Customers' needs are met and the response is quick. Overall, I am quite satisfied with everything. The price/performance ratio is quite high. I will recommend it to my friends.

The service attitude of the lady at the front desk of the hotel was very good. She arranged a quiet room according to our request. The breakfast environment of the hotel is commendable, and there are many kinds of food. It can really be said to be ”five-star experience and two-star consumption”. I will continue to stay in Vienna next time I go to Zhangjiagang.

I thought it was cloudy, but when I got there, the sun was shining, the breeze was not dry, the pool water was sparkling and took away the summer heat, the sunset on the roof, the rice seedlings outside the building were not noisy, and the sound of KTV at night also occupied the emo time on weekdays. At 0:00, the first day of my birth, I saw the blooming of cactus flowers. The thorns of the cactus are short and sharp, and the flowers are indeed flourishing. Knowing that it is my birthday, she sent a birthday cake and a small cake. It was really fun to play table football, billiards and VR. We sang in KTV until 12 o'clock. The sister's husband was also very responsible for us until 12 o'clock. He was also very worried about our meals and helped us get takeout. The sister's daughter is also super cute. I will definitely come again next time.

There is a desk in the room where you can work comfortably. The breakfast is very rich, with a variety of Chinese and Western food. The location is also excellent. For business travel, a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station is just right. In terms of details, the toiletry set used seems to be of high quality, and the quality of the razor is also good, and the shave is very smooth.

I came to the island during the Spring Festival and chose this hotel with a beautiful, clean and comfortable environment. It’s really great for friends who like quiet. The food tastes good. Affordable. The hotel's butlers provide good service. The hot springs are real. It's a comfortable soak. You can bring dogs and cats. They have a lot of fun.
